About this Cook
I love horseback riding, used to love riding my motorcycle. I like animals, walking, cooking (but not necessarily in that order). Those are my likes. I don't like people who whine, people that expect others to do for them and refuse to try to do for themselves.
My favorite things to cook
I like to make Grecian Chicken, chili, Teriyaki chicken, stroganoff, Mexicorn.
My favorite family cooking traditions
same as above
My cooking triumphs
Not sure.
My cooking tragedies
fudge. I used the cocoa method and it wouldn't harden. I make brownies just fine, but fudge just doesn't work for me. It's the only thing I can't get to harden. My cookies sure do.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker
This is the 1st negative review I've ever given. Based upon all the wonderful reviews, I bought an expensive pork tenderloin. The reviews also said it was to salty with the soy sauce so I left it out. We were very disappointed at the results. If I had used some oregano and basil, it probably would have been more tasty, but there wasn't much taste to it.

Alfredo Sauce
I really like this but I had to tweak it a bit. As I was melting the butter I added the garlic to it. Then I added 1 cup Parmesan and 1 cup Mozzarella cheese. I also added my home grown basil and oregano to the mixture. I'm a meat lover but since it's Lent, I added broccoli and shrimp to the sauce and poured it over the pasta. My husband said it tastes better than the Italian restaurant we go to.

Banana Bran Muffins
I usually like to follow recipes, but I had extra stuff on hand, so I added craisins, cinnamon and nutmeg. I'll let you know how the alterations turn out! UPDATE: They turned out great. We both loved them!
