About this Cook
I love food and I love cooking and feeding too. I always wanted to be chef but I end it up being an ICU nurse. I cook and I bake, savory and sweets. I love cooking so much since I was little girl, I use to take over my mom in the kitchen. My Mom is an excellent cook and all her sister as well. I remember my Mom getting invited to cook at weddings and she did it all for free. Growing up my mom never bought bread , we had a fire wood oven and she baked all the goodies all the time and every thing smelled amazing. Who did not have bread baked in a fire wood oven seriously have no idea what a good bread taste like. Now I cook to my family all the time and they love it.
My favorite things to cook
Middel eastern food is my absolute favorite food to cook. Stuffed grape leaves and stuffed zucchini ,Falafel ,kebob .Tabouli ,Hummus and lots and lots more Basically all the yummy stuff. I love stuffed cabbage and I love making it, But I love also cooking Indian , Afghan , Vietnamese,Japanese and Italian dishes too.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We made kibbeh for Easter sunday and New year. Easter cookies for Easter, it takes time to prep and making but it is heavenly . Rice with meat and pine nuts served with meat cooked in yogurt sauce . My mom made every sunday stuffed grape leaves and zucchini .Lot and lots of good food Mjadara every friday
My cooking triumphs
I was 11 years old and was the first time I made stuffed cabbage my mom was not home and I surprised her ,she was so proud of me.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I cooked rice I was about 9 years old and was a disaster . I put too much water and forget to put salt . every one in my family ate it and said it is so tasty only to keep my spirt up so I keep cooking and the only one did not eat was me. Now I master cooking all kind of rice and my favorite is Basmati rice.

Chicken Pot Pie IX
My husband loved and kids loved it,the first time I made chicken pot pie . I did few changes, I added diced potato, chopped Italian parsley, garlic as well salt and pepper adjusted to taste and I omit the green peas. I doubled the sauce as others suggested. I made fresh pie crust as well. Thank you for sharing

No-Knead Artisan Style Bread
I made few no knead bread in the past and this recipe is the best . Easy and simple. Bread came out very very crusty in the outside and soft and chewy in the inside, it looked similar to bread from fancy NY bakeries . I read all reviews and comment and I decided Just gonna do exact recipe steps . Other reviews that give bad review basically seem not familiar with baking sticky dough . So that my advice: Don't worry how sticky it is just flour your hand and don't worry how it shape look pre baking , just dump the dough in the Iron cast dutch oven pan and it will shape it self .(yes and I said dump it) I read other review say no need to cover the pan and I disagree . The reason you cover it because of the steam that going to drip back in to the dough and give the great crisp bakery style we looking for . If you ever see the Lodge Iron Cast cover u will understand the kisses look like dots and that is mainly for the steam to fall back to the pan . Other review give the recipe very poor review because the dough did not rise ,that a bad reason to give bad review , your yeast in fault thats why not working or you put hot water instead of warm which burn the yeast so go buy new yeast and try again .
