Mini Apricot Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2012
This recipe is super simple and wonderful! It requires very few ingredients and very little time. I used orange juice instead of lemon because I just moved and didn't have any on hand. It worked great, and the results are awesome! Thanks for a great recipe!

Parmesan Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
This is a wonderful recipe! I served these with a vegetable beef soup that I made the other night. It was great! These would be great to make with chili. I got rave reviews from everyone, and can't wait to make them again.

Lemon Drop

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
I, like others, had to a LOT more sugar and vodka to make this drinkable. Once I realized how much more I would need, I decided to stop rather than to waste a bunch of sugar and vodka. I had high hopes for this recipe, but it really was just entirely too much lemon juice.

Spinach Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
This recipe was wonderful! My 3 kids scarfed them down, and none of us(including me) like cooked spinach. I was trying to find a way to get some spinach in our diets. The only thing I did different was to add some crumbled bacon into the batter. Otherwise, I left it exactly as written. It will be made again and again! Cut into smaller portions this would make an excellent addition to a pitch in. It's good even when it's cold! Definitely try this recipe out.

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2010
I've never had key lime pie until I made this so take my review for what it's worth. The pie is really good, but I needed some whipped cream on it in order to eat it. It is a very bitter/tart pie. I needed the sweetened whipped cream in order to enjoy it. I followed the recipe exactly. It is a super simple recipe to make. I may reduce the amount of lime juice next time just a touch.

Graham Cracker Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
These were really good. I think they should be called coconut bars though. There's way more coconut flavor than anything else. they were very good though, and were eaten up by all.

Easy Skillet Supper

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
This has potential. I made it as it states(except I doubled it for my family) to see how it turned out. It was greasy and needed some flavor, but wasn't terrible. I added an extra can on cream of mushroom, some celery salt and some seasoned salt to it. I don't think the celery salt really added anything, but the seasoned salt definitely did. Next time I will cook the meat and drain it first, and start the potatoes and onion in a pan with some butter like I would home fries. Once the meat is browned and the potatoes are starting to become tender I will add everything together and cook covered for about 30 minutes. I think that will take care of the issues I had, and make it really tasty! Thanks for a good starter recipe.

Parmesan Zucchini Spears

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2010
This was just ok for me. I love zucchini and that's why it was still good for me. I added some of the lemon juice to perk it up a bit.

Cold Cocoa Smoothie

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2010
Based on the recipe I'm only giving this 4 stars because it was very thin. It is just a milkshake, and I just added more ice cream to thicken it up. That said, this is delicious! I have a ton of hot chocolate mix in my cabinet that my mom keeps sending me. This is a great way to use it up! Thanks!

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
This was the first time I'd stiffed chicken before. I'm not afraid to try it now. I marinated the chicken overnight in olive oil, the juice from one lemon, two garlic cloves, and some rosemary. Butterflied them and put in plenty of cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Then I dipped them in italian bread crumbs mixed with some fresh grated parmesan and romano cheese. Baked for a little while and then poured some butter on top and finished baking. So good! Thank you! My whole family loved these!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

This is one of the best recipes I've ever used. I made 3 larger loaves, and gave one to a friend and his wife. They loved it and have been asking me when I can make more! :) Thanks for the great recipe!

Fried Cabbage II

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
I didn't make this exactly as written so it's hard for me to rate it accurately, but it was a great basic recipe for me to add to. I used much more bacon, and added fresh mushrooms. It was really very good. I followed some reviews, and let it cook until it got really brown. I had a little too much bacon grease so next time I will drain some of that off before adding the cabbage. It was a good hot salad to eat with our sandwiches.

Frozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
My kids had a great time helping me make these! We rolled them in bite sized balls and froze them for a couple of hours. Then we dipped them in chocolate bark, and decorated with sprinkles and more mini chocolate chips. I got the idea from a friend of mine, and this recipe worked perfectly for it. Thanks!

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Reviewed: May 13, 2010
This was the perfect amount of heat for my husband. He really can't take things too hot, and this just left a nice tingle in the back of the throat. I can stand things much more hot, but I keep things tame for him. He loved this, and it will definitely be made again! I served this with the "Lime Cilantro Rice" from this site, and a piece of grilled chicken. It was an excellent meal. Thanks for the great recipe!

Lime Cilantro Rice

Reviewed: May 13, 2010
My husband really liked this, and that's saying a lot! He's not a big fan of rice. I used minute rice, and added in the other ingredients. I served it with grilled chicken on top and "Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce" over that. It was an awesome meal! Thanks so much!

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Oh.My.Goodness! I could not stop eating this! My chocolate layer was pulling away from the toffee layer, but regardless it was the best toffee I've ever eaten! Next time I'm making quite a bit more to break into tiny pieces to freeze for use in cookies and such. Thank you so much! Next Christmas this is going to be given out as presents!

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: May 6, 2010
This bread tastes great! I didn't let mine rise long enough. I got impatient so mine weren't as tall and pretty as they should have been, but next time I will let them finish rising! I froze two of the loaves for later use. Thanks!
