Authentic French Meringues

Very good and easy to make, it just takes time. I didn't have a pastry bag, so I used a ziplog bag and I cut a small piece of the corner off one side. Worked great! :)

Teriyaki Chicken Pizza

This was fairly good...go light on the garlic though...it came out rather strong the first time. Overall, it's much better than I ever imagined it would be. It sounded disgusting at first, but the adventurous spirit in me wanted to try it.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

These are incredibly delicious!! Since some of my family is gluten-free, we substituted with a GF flour mix (sorghum, cornstarch, tapioca flours) and added less than a tsp of xantham gum, and it turned out great! Very fluffy and NOT dense like GF breads can tend to be. Highly recommend! :)

German Pancakes II

This was pretty good! I cooked it a little longer than 40 min. The middle egg-y part was rather soft, so I left it in to firm up a little more. Don't underestimate how much it will rise when you put it in. Give it plenty of room...it will rise much above the dish (I used a average square pyrex dish). Tasted great with syrup...the corner and edge pieces taste the best, imho. :) I cut it into a bunch of squares to make it easier to serve. It tastes like a cross between scrambled eggs and pancakes...great breakfast food!

Caramelized Baked Chicken

My family and I LOVE the sauce and make the sauce all the time, just to have on hand. It has a semi-teriyaki flavor. I add about 3/4 cup of cool cornstarch water (3 rounded tbsp of cornstarch about) and let it boil again to thicken it. When it heats up or bakes it thins out a lot (even when thickened), so the whole recipe was good, but not very flavorful since the sauce thinned out so much. When using the sauce, I usually add it last to get the full rich flavor, instead of heating it with the food. This recipe goes great with rice too!
