Roasted Lemon Chicken

Very good flavor ~ will definately make again. My chicken was just over 5 lbs, so had to cook it longer. Part way through cooking, I had to cover it with foil because it was getting too brown too quick. I followed the recipe with the exception of not using rosemary sprigs because I didn't have any.

Stuffed Eggplant with Shrimp and Basil

If I could give this wonderful dish more than 5 stars I would. My hubby said I hit a grand slam with this one. Only changes I made were based on other reviewers suggestions and my personal preference. I doubled the number of shrimp, only used 1/2 the breadcrumbs, I added extra garlic and I also added chopped onion. I will definitely make this again ~ YUM!

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Wonderful recipe ~ a keeper. It was quick and easy, too. Only change I made was using agave sweetner in place of the lite corn syrup because I didn't have it. Can't get any better than this. I used it on Lisa's Chocolate Chocolate Chip cake from this site. Maybe it would even be good on a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Turkey Wild Rice Soup II

Excellent soup and my hubby said I hit a home run with this recipe ~ it's a keeper! Used Swanson chicken broth because that's what I had on hand. I added extra onion, carrots & celery as a personal preference. Will definitely make again when we have left over turkey. Thanks for sharing!

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

YUM, this turkey breast was moist, delicious and falling off the bone. It sure did make our house smell good while it was cooking. I did add a small amount of chicken stock to the crock pot, but probably wasn't necessary. This is a recipe I will use again and again. Just make sure the turkey breast will fit; mine was almost too large and I had to turn it on its side. Thanks for sharing!

Restaurant-Style Prime Rib Roast

Oh my goodness, this recipe is wonderful! I've never put a rub on prime rib before and was a little bit nervous about doing it, but I am so happy I did. My husband just raved about the flavor and how juicy it was. This recipe is a keeper.

Apple-Cheddar Tossed Salad

I enjoyed the combination of lettuce, apples, cheese and walnuts; it was a nice change. However,I didn't care for the dressing at all and ended up using a botted dressing from Trader Joes that I felt was a nice compliment. Will definitely not make the dressing again.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Blue Cheese-Chive Butter

This is a great recipe; the flavor was excellent, the steak was very tender and we loved the blue cheese chive butter on top. I've never bought or prepared a flat iron steak before, but will make this again, but with more of the blue cheese chive butter next time. Our steak took longer than 5 minutes on each side, but I think our grill cooks slower than others. Next time I will invite company!
