Baked Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2012
Very good recipe. I think sausage would be very good too. Next time I plan to add a little less brown gravy and a little more tomato sauce. The half and half gave it such a good, creamy consistency. I also added onions and bell pepper.

Sandy's Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2009
This was a very easy and great recipe! I added chopped asparagus to the mix, but I don't think that it did much for it. I did however put one can of cream of asparagus and one of cream of chicken and that gave it an amazing flavor! I did cook the noodles for a few minutes before just to make sure and they turned out just fine. I baked for 35-40 minutes covered, then 10 uncovered. For the last 10 I covered with french fried onions and salt/pepper. I do think that adding more cheese on top at the end would have made it even better. That's for next time! Thanks for such a quick, easy, and tasty recipe!

Easy Snack Wraps

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
The only thing that I think I could have done differently is more cream cheese. I did not like these, they were soooo plain. I dipped mine in ranch for some flavor. Made a quick dinner, but not something I'd probably do again.

Pasta With Spinach Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
This was very tasty! I followed all of the directions except I used manicotti noodles instead of spagetti and ommitted the ham. Was plenty to eat! It almost tasted like spinach dip. Yum yum! OH, almost forgot, I did cut the spinach in half like other users suggested and it was still plenty.

Watermelon Fire and Ice Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
This was such an interesting recipe and conversation piece! I had everyone trying to guess what it was made with. It had a nice, refreshing taste. I added regular onions to the mix, so yummy!!! I can't wait to trick more people on its secret ingredient! Thanks!!

Avocado-Shrimp Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
Recipe was okay. The tiny little shrimp were yummy. I think this recipe uses way too much avacado. It took over the recipe. I took some of the advice and added fresh garlic and put the mixture in a warm tortilla. Decent meal.

Fabulous Fruit Salad II

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
Very good! The cinnamon makes such a difference. Didn't have a problem with the fruit browning like some others said...I did put a little lemon juice on them to help with that though. Very yummy!

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
Very neat idea and different! I made this for a bridal shower and it was definitely a hit and everyone seemed very intrigued by them. I will say that they seemed very bland, though, so I'm going to try them again tonight and try to pump up the flavor a little. Maybe more taco seasoning and some cayenne pepper.

Green Onion Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
Very different and a good recipe! I think next time I will add another egg or two. I also added a few squirts of mustard and it made a world of difference! I didn't add the saltines, I used this as a sandwich spread. Very good!

Yummy Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
I don't eat honey mustard, but everyone that I made it for loved this recipe! I also added a little more honey and also a few pinches of sugar. I stuck it in the freezer so that it could cool quicker and it was delicious!

Peanut Butter Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
Was my first time having a peanut butter cake...I loved it! I did make some changes though. To the actual recipe, the icing doesn't need near as much milk. I ended up using way too much powdered sugar to get it back to not being liquid. Also, I did two layers instead of one big cake. Was very pretty! Something I added...Reese cups! I also used Reese's peanut butter. It was soooo good! I crumbled the Reese cups on the first and second layer. I liked the icing a little runny because I let the icing run down the sides and harden. Turned out great!

Stir Fried Asparagus

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2009
I'm new to eating/preparing asparagus. This was a great recipe! I added a little butter after I had it on my plate. Other than that, followed everything to a tee! I might would cook the asparagus a little longer next time, but didn't want the onions to overcook this time around.

This was so good! I'd never made or had anything like it. It was a big hit at my house. I didn't have the celery seed, but it is still so yummy without.

Best Farmers' Market Pimento Cheese

Reviewed: May 1, 2009
I was very pleased with this recipe! I am a pimento cheese fan, only homemade, no store bought. I was a tiny bit nervous about the white cheddar, but I absolutely loved it! The onions give it a great splash of taste. Cannot wait to eat it for lunch today!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
Pretty tasty change to regular soft tacos. I didn't have oregano, but used parsley flakes instead...was still great. I used a whole lime instead of just half. Was also great the next day as a leftover! I would maybe recommend a larger size taco shell too, I could hardly fit all of the ingredients in the 6 inch.

Campbell's Kitchen Creamy Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
I absolutely love this recipe! The cream of chicken soup really makes a difference. I use canned chicken instead of cooking any chicken, which really saves a lot of time, money, and still tastes amazing! After I put them on the plate, I top them with the green onions and tomatoes. Even my little brothers love this dish!
