Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: May 2, 2009
This was our first attempt at making peach cobbler. Since peaches are not yet in season, we used frozen peaches. Next time we will double up on the crust.

Tomato Bisque III

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2009
This is the best tomatoe bisque I have ever tasted. I'll be craving this the next time I'm under-the-weather. I used a little extra nutmeg, heavy cream, tomatoe paste (whole can) and white pepper. I serve with grilled-cheese using "Honey Wheat Bread I."

Baked Brunch Omelet

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2009
This is a great recipe that my wife absolutely loves. After making this a number of times, I've added a new twist. Before adding the second layer of bread, I add a layer of freshly sliced mushrooms, green peppers and tomatoes. I also add around half a cup of hot sauce.

Great Recipe. Easy to follow. It reminded me of my mom's vegetable soup, a favorite of mine.

Home-Style Vegetable Beef Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
I made this for my wife and she loved it. I used a lot of the canned vegetables from the back of the shelf but the soup turned out well (a solid '4' rating). I gave the soup a 5 since I didn't use fresh vegetables.

Honey Wheat Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
This is my first loaf of bread, but I already feel like a pro. This bread is simply incredible. I used some cinammon butter to coat the bread and bread-pan prior to cooking. Thanks for another perfect recipe!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
I was raised on CPPs and I've tried several recipes. Most end up too dry, but not this recipe. This is the only pot pie recipe I will ever need. Thanks for another great recipe! CHEERS!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
This was my first attempt at making bread so I'm not sure how accurate my rating may be comparatively, but this was easy to make and is delicious. My wife says she "loves it." The bread has a light flavor and smells sensational - like Christmas in the kitchen. I found it very filling so a little goes a long way. We'll be calling this 'downsouth Georgia pumpkin bread' before long ;). Thanks for another great recipe!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
Simply amazing soup! My wife loves potato soup from Chili's and I've tried several potato soup recipes. This one is the best. Some are too thick, some too watery, some have too much ham or celery, ... this one is spot on. CHEERS!

My wife has raved about some of the recipes I've made from this site, but she tells me these ribs 'kick the butte' of everything I've done so far. I know what I'm going to be cooking for every Tennessee game from now on. Thanks friend!!

World's Best Lasagna

My wife doesn't care for Italian sausage so I used all hamburger and replaced the ricatta cheese with 2 lbs of cottage cheese - my wife described as "absolutely excellent!" Another '2 Thumbs up' to All Recipes to helping novice cooks and new husbands.

Ian's Potato-Vegetable Soup

This took a novice (me) 60 minutes from the time I started until the table was ready. I added a little more salt, boulon, and veggies - this recipe is fantastic!
