Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili
This was just OK. Nothing really wrong with it but it didn't really WOW me. I did use one finely diced fresh jalapeno instead of the canned and pureed one can of beans to thicken. I cut down on the amount of spices used also. It wasn't at all spicy though the leftovers may be after sitting overnight.

Blueberry-Lemon Crumb Bars
Yummy recipe! I did not find the dough at all difficult though it does require more liquid...another egg or lemon juice. I also added more zest than was called for and squeezed lemon juice over the blueberries. The lemon flavor was still very subtle though. Definitely use a much smaller pan also. Overall very good and I love the fact that they have fewer calories and less fat than many other bar recipes.

Italian Vegetable Soup
I have never reviewed a recipe from this site but I just had to with this one. It's that good! I used hot italian turkey sausage in place of the ground beef, tortellin instead of macaroni, which I added about 10 minutes before serving, and one 32 ox. box Kitchen Basics beef stock (about 3/4 of the box) and 3 bouillon cubes instead of the water. I also added about 8 oz. V8 juice and skipped the cabbage since we do not like it. I doubled the spices and added about a half tsp. of thyme. As good as this was right away, it was 10 times better the next day as leftovers. Might try red potatoes the next time in place of the tortellini. Absolutely delicious!
