Chicken Pot Pie IX

Tried this today and it was fantasic. Usually buy a Costco pot pie but never will again. Added cooked cubbed potatoes(1 cup) 1tsp poultry seasoning,3/4 tsp garlic powder.Also added frozen veggies(corn,green beans,peas,carrots).Had to add a little cornstarch and water to thicken. Need to taste test before you pour into pie shell,may need to season alittle more. This is a keeper.I would rate 10 stars if I cuold.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is one of the best chocolate chip cookie recipe that I have tried. I did make changes. First I halved the recipe for 36 servings. 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour for all-purpose flour,1/4 cup flax seed,1 tsp baking powder,1/2 tsp salt,3 tsp vanilla. I used 1 box Jello sugar free/fat free vanilla instant pudding mix, 2 large eggs(some people say use jumbo,large worked fine),1 cup of chocolate chips 1 cup chopped pecans. Baked for 9 1/2 minutes @350(convection oven). They came out perfect,light brown edges and soft middles. Got 67 cookies using a 1 tsp cookie scoop.

Carrot Cake III

This is by far the best carrot cake I've ever tasted.I read the reviews and made some changes and wow, fantastic. I added 1 8oz can of drained crushed pineapple & 1 cup of oil & added the drained pineapple juice. 2 cups of carrots with 3/4 cup of raisins.For the sugar 1 cup white & 1 cup of light brown sugar.Also 1/2tsp nutmeg & 1/8tsp ground cloves. The frosting I used 2 1/2 cups of confectioners suger & 3tsp vanilla & 3/4 cup chopped pecans, let frosting stay a room temp.,this will make it easy to spread once cake is cool.Everything else stayed the same.Had to cook just alittle longer. This is a keeper.

Whole-Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Fantastic. My new chocolate chip cookie recipe. Used all whole wheat pastry flour (Bobs Red Mill),used all butter. 1 1/2 cups brown suger, 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped pecans. 4 TBS of milled flax seed (extra fiber can't hurt). Baked for 7 1/2 minutes(convection oven). Have non stick jelly roll pan so I didn't need to grease pan. Got 78 cookies,crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. Fantasic flavor,perfect size,didn't spread like some cookies do when you use all butter.
