I don't know why in the world you would want to sully this wonderful margarita with 7up, but if it's your thing, more power to you. If you aren't savvy with sweet, you will love this recipe just the way it is. It tastes just like every amazing margarita I have ever had in a *good* Mexican food joint. If you want it slushy, just put all ingredients except the beer in a blender with a few handfuls of ice and blend. Personally, this recipe is so amazing that I don't know WHY anyone would want to tamper with it. The water cuts the sweetness of the limeade concentrate and the tequila just PERFECTLY. (I used Bacardi Margarita concentrate, even though it comes in 10oz cans...just add the juice of a lime to make up for the missing two ounces). My birthday falls two days after Cinco de Mayo, and so Margaritas and Mexican food are my annual ritual for the whole first week of May. I don't foresee myself ever needing to try and find another recipe again. This one needs to win an award just the way it is. Kudos!!
