We love this salad. I also cut the sugar in half, use red onion, and dress the salad right before serving.

Bill's Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
My family loved this gravy. I used one can canned milk and one can water in place of the whole milk because that is how my grandmother made sausage gravy.

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2009
A huge hit and oh so easy. I used 12 fresh sliced peaches and sprinkled 1 tsp. cinnamon on top (if they're ripe no need to add sugar). I also increased the cinnamon sprinkled on top to 1 tsp. Grating the cold butter worked great.

I doubled the recipe using 8 eggs, 1 1/2 cups milk, and baked in a 9x13 pan I also needed to bake the hashbrowns and finished casserole longer. We loved it.

Great taste and easy. I combine the milk with creamer, or buttermilk, or eggnog-whatever I have on hand.

I used canned milk just because that's the way my G'ma always made milk gravy. I got rave reviews from the whole family.

These are yummy. I cut the crescent triangles into three or four skinnier triangles each, which is plenty blanket for each piggy.

Caramel Popcorn with Marshmallow

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2013
I like that it stayed soft, but there was way too much caramel for the amount of popcorn. If I were to make it again I would half the amount of caramel ingredients.

Angel Food Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2012
I too filled them 3/4 full and baked at 350 for 16 min. I also refrigerated the batter between batches. I topped them with store bought frosting mixed with whipped topping. I got 30 cupcakes. They were a huge hit with the kids and I got a lot of compliments.

No-Sugar-Added Blueberry and Banana Wheat Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2012
After reading other reviews I made the following changes. I substituted orange juice for the water and applesauce for the oil. Increased the bananas and fresh blueberries to 1 1/2 cups each, making sure both were very ripe. Added cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. I also made it in a loaf pan and baked for 40 min. Just goes to show that not only can we bake with less sugar, but no sugar works too!

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2010
I prefer a crisp or cobbler with only a topping. I thought having crisp on the bottom and top was just too much which masked the fruit flavor. I also thought there was too much butter.
