Basil and Pesto Hummus
I don't have a blender or a food processor, but that's okay! I love a chunky, thick hummus. I thought the liquid measurements were perfect. It was a very unique combination of flavours. Delicious on some toasted crusty bread with a side of tomato soup. As a hint for those also mashing this by hand or with limited tools: do not chop up the garlic. Take a small plastic bag (for sandwiches, for example), put in a clove of garlic, and smash that sucker until it's nice and pulpy. Mashed/pressed garlic carries a stronger, fuller flavour than chopped garlic.

Honey-Balsamic Vinaigrette
This is an extremely simple and decadent, delicious dressing. I used it last night over a salad with crumbled feta and a side of pita bread. I find it also delicious without any soy sauce at all; I am salt-sensitive, and I noticed my tongue shrinking from the small amount the first time I had tried it. But it still holds well, with or without it - and I've tried it both ways. For a single-serving, I use one spoon honey, one spoon balsamic vinegar, to two spoonfuls olive oil.

Jo's Rosemary Bread
This bread was fantastic. My husband, myself, and my friend ate an entire loaf last night alongside dinner without realising it! I'm going to make another loaf soon to bring to my mothers-in-law.
