Chicken and Broccoli Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
I didn't have fresh basil so I tossed the raw chicken with dried basil and oregano before I cooked it. This was delicious! I made it twice in one week!

I used chicken breast instead of chicken thighs. I also used fresh tomatoes from the garden. Other than that I followed the recipe perfectly. It was delicious.

Garden Fresh Tomato Soup

This was so good. I wasn't sure about putting cloves in tomato soup but it turned out delicious. I added a little more sugar to cut out the bitterness and it was perfect!

Pineapple Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2012
I used 1 1/2 cups sugar and only 1/2 cup oil. Instead of frosting it I toasted about 1 1/2 cups of coconut and stirred it into the cake batter. Very moist and delicious!

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

I added a carrot and a small potato. I used a stick blender but only blended it a little so it was creamy and chunky. Definitely making again.

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2012
Way better than store bought! I heated the milk, water, and butter as directed and added it to my bread machine. Then I put the rest of the ingredients in the bread machine and let the dough cycle take care of the rest. I followed the rest of the directions exactly except for the egg wash. They were a little dense but delicious!!

I didn't have thai chili sauce or hot sauce so I added red pepper flakes. I added corn to it too. This was the first time I've ever had a veggie burger and I will be making these again very soon! Yum!

Cream Puffs I

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2012
Wow. Just wow. I used butter instead of shortening and 3 eggs instead of 4. These were absolutely amazing. The custard was thick, creamy, and delicious. The pastry was extremely easy to make and came out perfect. I filled a plastic bag with the custard and piped it into the pastries. I didn't have to cut them or anything. I just opened up a little crack on the tops of them and squeezed the custard in. I put a chocolate glaze on half of them. Next time I make them (there will DEFINITELY be a next time) I will frost all of them.

Washboard Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2012
This is now my favorite cookie EVER. It's like a blondie in cookie form. AMAZING! I made it exactly as written and I wouldn't make any changes! These are not bland at all. If you have had blonde brownies, these have the same texture and flavor. Chewy, sweet, and almost like caramel on the inside. Crispy outside. Perfect cookie.
