Buttery Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2014
Amazing! Since I was only making it for two, I made 1/4 of the recipe and I still have leftovers. This is the best Alfredo I've ever tasted. Also, I did not find it necessary to simmer it an extra 20-30 min. I took it off the heat, then added the cheese and all the cheese melted just fine. Oh, I used asiago cheese in place of both cheeses so maybe that made a difference.

E-Z Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2013
I grated cold butter into the flour mixture and then added the milk. Oh, and no cream of tarter. Other than that, I made it as written. These are the best biscuits, for real. I don't know why people said they were bland and dry. Mine were the opposite!! Super moist and fluffy and buttery. I will be making these from now on.

Milk Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2013
Very yummy! I live in a very humid place so the dough was quite sticky. I added a little extra flour as it was mixing but it still fell and came out looking like minecraft bread. Delicious though!

This was really good. I didn't have a fresh tomato so I added half a can of drained diced tomatoes.

Ginger Pear Bread

This just came out of my oven and it is amazing! I used a drained can of pears instead of fresh pears and just mashed them with a fork. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly!

Kris' Amazing Shredded Mexican Beef

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2013
Even though I like spicy, I only put half the can of peppers. It barely had any heat. Next time, because there will definitely be a next time, I will put the whole can. This is now my favorite beef recipe.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2012
Made this as part of Thanksgiving dessert for my fiancé's family in Miami. Everybody said it was the best tres leches they have ever eaten! I used skim milk instead of whole and only put 1/4 cup sugar instead of 1 cup in the whipped cream. It was still very rich and creamy. The amount of liquid is perfect. It was just enough to be fully absorbed with no dry spots. We just ate it yesterday and people are already asking me to make it again!

Eggnog Thumbprints

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2012
Best cookies ever. Made as written with 151 Bacardi Rum. Amazing. I had no problem with the frosting being runny. If anything, it was too thick and I live in a humid place.

I left the salt out like everyone said and used all purpose flour with a tsp of baking powder. This was amazing. You can't taste tomato at all and it is so fluffy and moist.

Washboard Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2012
This is now my favorite cookie EVER. It's like a blondie in cookie form. AMAZING! I made it exactly as written and I wouldn't make any changes! These are not bland at all. If you have had blonde brownies, these have the same texture and flavor. Chewy, sweet, and almost like caramel on the inside. Crispy outside. Perfect cookie.
