World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: May 24, 2015
This is an amazing lasagna recipe! My husband is Italian and wanted lasagna so the bar was pretty high and this recipe easily met my hopes for an awesome tasting dish. I even made this for my Italian family for Christmas and got compliments on the sauce! I used ground turkey instead of beef, and I doubled the ricotta cheese mixture because I like more than the recipe calls for. I also add more seasoning to taste- garlic powder, garlic salt, ground black pepper, Italian seasoning. I also did not cook the noodles beforehand- i just soaked the noodles in hot water for 20 minutes while cooking the rest and this helps the noodles not become too soggy in the dish later. It was amazing and I will always make this recipe.

Chicken Piccata II

Reviewed: May 24, 2015
I wasn't impressed with this recipe at all. The flavor was pretty bland, even adding more seasoning and it just overall did not have the zing it needed and was a little soggy. Will look for another recipe.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: May 24, 2015
This was an awesome recipe for my family on a Sunday evening. I have 6 to feed, so I used 2 4.5 chickens and cooked a little longer. Wonderful seasoning- I think I am going to take the advice of another user and make a lot of this seasoning mix and keep in a container so I can season chicken super quick in a rush and let it sit overnight. Overall great flavor and will continue making this

Loaded Chicken Carbonara

Reviewed: May 24, 2015
This recipe was delicious. I traveled throughout Italy tasting carbonara and am married to an Italian- so I had high expectations. I did double the sauce because I was serving 6, and I wanted to make sure I had enough sauce to coat the pasta well. I also cut the chicken in smaller pieces and cooked in the pan instead of cooking and cutting later. We left out the peas because we don't care for them, and made sure to add enough salt and pepper. It was delicious! Serve with a side salad to lighten it up and it was awesome!

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2012
I was really not impressed with this recipe, it seemed bland to me. Wont be making it again. I even added additional worcestershire sauce, and sauteed the meat with onion.. and it was still bland. I tried making it twice, and will have to find a different recipe. Bummer since 6 bell peppers and meat are not the cheapest :/

Chinese Chicken Salad II

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
I thought this dressing was way too bland. I added sesame oil and terriyaki sauce and it helped it a lot. With those additions the recipe is a keeper, but I am rating it based on the recipe as is- needs additions to be good in my opinion.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
This was sooo delicious, my picky husband and his best friend LOVED it:) Great taste!! I did make a few changes- I cooked the vegetables in chicken broth instead of water, and I accidentally had to cook the chicken separate from the veggies (I forgot to somehow cook it with the veggies) I cooked the chicken in a pan with a little olive oil, garlic salt, garlic powder, pepper, season all.. and then just added it to the veggies later. I also made a homemade crust (you dont have to) but it is the French pastry pie crust from this site But even if you didnt do my changes.. this pie would still be great! Highly recommend!! I will forever keep this recipe!

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
Made this for the guys in my family, and they all liked it. I made a few adjustments per the other "raters" :) I used 1 can chopped tomatoes with chiles in place of one can of soup - 1 can white beans instead of red kidney, - 1 can of corn, - 1 (4oz) can green chiles - 1/2 can extra water - I cooked the onion with the meat. I also added some salt and pepper to taste as it cooked in the slow cooker. I like a little more spice:) All in all, pretty good chili recipe, and super easy to make.

Barbeque Beef Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
I thought this recipe was really good! My husband liked it also. I took others advice and added some worst. sauce and garlic powder to the beef, and drained the beef before adding the vegetables. I didn't drain the tomatoes.. kept liquid. I also used 1 whole cup of BBQ sauce, and used 2 boxes of Jiffy cornbread mix. 2 boxes was perfect. This recipe made a lot, will have leftovers:) Turned out great, definitely will keep this recipe.
