Sausage and Cornbread Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
I have been using this recipe for 2 years now and I am just now getting around to reviewing it. It has been a hit at our last 2 Thanksgiving dinners and I plan to keep this recipe around for a long time! I follow the recipe exactly and it turns out great everytime. The spicy sausage makes this dressing!

Spicy Honey Mustard Pork Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
Very good recipe, only I feel it calls for too much pepper; and this is coming from a pepper lover. It was a good flavor, but next time I will cut the pepper in half.

Honey Ginger Carrots

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
Very nice way to prepare carrots. I followed recipe exactly, however, I did have some pumpkin pie spice left over from Thanksgiving that I added to the mix. It is just a mixture of ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. Added a nice sweet flavor to the carrots. Thanks for the recipe!

Marinated Ranch Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
We really enjoyed this recipe. Broiling definitely gave us the grilled out taste we were looking for. I used chicken tenderloins and had some left over for a grilled chicken salad today. Can't wait until lunch! Thanks for an awesome and easy recipe!

Lemon Thyme Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2010
My family thought this was really good. I did not have fresh garlic or thyme so I used 1 tbsp garlic powder and 1 tbsp dried thyme. Also, I did not have a fresh lemon on hand, so no lemon zest. However, we found that it had a great lemony flavor without the zest. Very flavorful, but I'm sure it would have been even better with fresh ingredients. Did I forget to mention this recpe is SUPER EASY AND QUICK!! 5 stars!

Cream Cheese Jalapeno Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2010
As far as taste is concerned...these are EXCELLENT!! However, I had a few problems. They were super messy first of all, I had to really scrub my griddle to get it clean. Also, I had a hard time cooking the beef thoroughly without squeezing the cream cheese mixture out as my patties did not hold together well. If I make these again I am going to try a different preparation method. I think I will cook the patties individually and when done sandwich the cream cheese mixture between patties and cook just long enough to warm cream cheese. The end result would look and taste the same as what I ended up with following recipes instructions, (probably better because more cream cheese would make it to your plate), plus it would make clean up and prep alot easier. Also, I only used the jalapeno's on my burger. For my husband and daughters burgers I used real bacon bits with the cream cheese and they loved it. This is a recipe that can really be customized to your own liking. Definitely going to play around with different prep methods on this one. UPDATE: Okay, I tried this the easy way. Made a burger and spread the cream cheese mixture on the bun....MUCH easier and not so messy. Plus, this does NOT affect the taste. In my opinion it is better this way.

Cream Cheese Basil Summer Squash

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2010
Wow!! Excellent recipe; best squash I've ever had. Even my picky 4 year old loved it! I did not microwave. Instead I pan fried 1 large squash, dried basil, 4 cloves garlic, (I also added minced onion, salt, and pepper.) I added cream cheese last. So fragrant while cooking and tasted just as great! Thanks for the recipe!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2010
Made this last night and thought it was good. My biggest concern was the chicken turning out too dry but they ended up very moist and tender. I thought they needed a little more seasoning, salt in particular. I used 2 tsp garlic powder with the olive oil; next time I will use 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp garlic salt. Overall, very good and easy, will make again.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
Delicious! I've made these twice now and have followed the recipe exact. The only thing I did different was baked for 40 minutes instead of an hour; didn't see the need for the extra 20 minutes since the chops were done. Served these with rice and broccoli, pouring the sauce over the top; excellent pork chops with an oriental flair! Thanks for the recipe.

The Easiest Blackened Chicken

Was looking for a healthier alternative for cooking chicken breast and this one was good. Low in calories, the only downside is it is very high in sodium. Tasty and easy to make.

Baked Lemon Chicken with Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2010
Excellent recipe when tweaked a little. Here's what I did: Browned 3 boneless chicken breast in skillet, making sure to add some seasonings (Garlic powder, salt, and pepper). When browned I added about 3/4 cup lemon juice, covered, and simmered until juices ran clear and liquid was absorbed completely. This made a nice glaze over the chicken; it was sooo good! When making the sauce, I used 1 cup of chicken broth, and found that I needed more than a sprinkle of flour to thicken, but I had plenty of sauce. Also, I added more garlic powder to sauce, we love garlic in my house. Instead of using the sauce over chicken, I added it to egg noodles and placed chicken on top. Turned out wonderful.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2010
We really enjoyed this recipe...super easy to make, cheap, and really tasty. I used Franks Buffalo Wing Sauce, it was spicy but good. Alot of other reviewers who complain of recipe being too spicy are using hot sauce vs. buffalo wing sauce. I bet that is the problem. Also, I used the whole 1oz. package of ranch mix, hated to waste the rest. Glad I did, because it turned out wonderful! Thanks for the recipe!

Easy French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2010
Very good and SUPER EASY! Supper was ready in 15 minutes with little clean up. My only problem was the fact the the hoagie got real soggy. Next time I may just toast the hoagie and melt the cheese at the same time, then add the roast beef last rather than constructing the sandwich first. Other than this the recipe was tasty and perfectly simple....a busy mother's dream! :)

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
I've used this recipe several times and have to say.....I doubt I will ever make chops any other way. The chops always turn out tender and the beef broth makes them taste alot like steak. Instead of using table salt I use garlic salt. Also, I let the chops stay in the pan until the broth is boiled down, then the broth makes a nice glaze for the chops. Love it! Thanks for the recipe!

I love this dish! I have made it a dozen or more times and I'm just getting around to reviewing it. This recipe has been thrown into my family's regular dinner rotation, we all love it. It's great over rice, pasta, or with potatoes. Thanks for such an easy, and tasty recipe!

Feta and Bacon Stuffed Chicken with Onion Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
Wow! This was absolutely scrumptious! This was my first time stuffing chicken so I was a little worried about how it would turn out. Well...as it turns out, I'm a pretty good chicken stuffer! :) Made exactly as recipe calls except I used real bacon bits instead of frying some fresh. Because of this I had to brown the chicken in vegetable oil, so I didn't have the bacon taste throughout. Next time I'm using real bacon. The stuffing was delicious and not nearly as hard to stuff in the chicken as I would have thought. I did not make the potatoes only because my husband hates onions. Very pleased with the look and taste of the end result...definitely making this again soon!

Chicken-Baked Chops

I was hesitant to make these because of the canned soup, but so glad I tried it! The soup and worchestershire blended together so nicely and made a flavorful gravy for the mashed potatoes I served. This was super easy to make. I will definitely make again!

This is the best marinade ever! Made steaks the other night for my family using this marinade and have to admit...they were the best steaks I've ever made. Tender, juicy, flavorful...yummy! We are having friends over for a get-together tomorrow...I planned the get-together just so I can show off this steak marinade recipe! LOL....can't wait.

Simple But Awesome Lemon Pepper Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
The concept of the recipe was great....putting the chops in aluminum foil with the butter and olive oil definitely made them tender. However, the lemon pepper didn't seem to compliment it well. Next time I make this I will not use lemon pepper.
