About this Cook
In a nutshell...I love good food, good wine and good company :>
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook is versatile and tasty. My favorite meat is red be it beef, moose, venison or any game. My favorite appliance is my bbq! Or when I am slow cooker!!! My husband hunts so I usually have to come up with different ways to cook a freezer full of one type of meat for a couple months :> Then it changes...
My favorite family cooking traditions
My father, brother and I all fancy ourselves as gourmet cooks. So we quite often will host an Iron Chef contest. But really, we all love to cook and host dinners.
My cooking triumphs
I have won the Iron Chef contest!!
My cooking tragedies
Oh...way to many to put on paper...hehe

Chicken Pot Pie I
Why would you rate a frozen/canned veggie, store bought crusts and canned soup recipe like you would rate a fresh, home made recipe? Come on searched it for the simplicity!!!! Thanks for a great recipe that I will make time and time again when pressed for time!!!

Zucchini Stuffed Chicken
What a wonderful recipe!! I didn't venture far from the recipe but as I didn't have a couple ingredients this is what I did do...I used old cheddar. Next time I will use swiss...think it would be much better, if it could get any better :D I didn't have fresh herbs so used dried herbs provence but next time will use fresh and didn't use an egg either. Also used a handful of panko crumbs instead of bread. Seriously moist...if you don't over grill and just ground a couple turns of salt and pepper and drizzle of olive oil on the skin. Indirect heat on the bbq ... yummmmmmmmy!!! (I only did two breasts with the bone could you any other way??? so modified the ingredients to reflect :) )
