Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
Great Recipe ! I quadrupled the sauce and gave the chops a quick fry - then put them in the oven (as per other reviews). This gives you time to make the rice or mashed potatoes. Will definitely make this again and again.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
I love beef. I love the tast of beef. Making it with artificial stuff like canned soup and dried soup? No, thank you. If you're going to save so much time by using a slow cooker - then at least use some good fresh ingredients that will have the beef tasting like it should, not like it came out of a can.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
Because some people in this household hate to see little chunks of onion or whatnot floating in a soup - this is what I did: About 3/4 of the way into the cooking time, I took out the whole chicken breasts (that were put in frozen) and then I pureed the soup, put the shredded chicken, black beans and corn in for the remainder of cooking. I used HOT enchilada sauce - we like things spicy around here. EXCELLENT!!!!! Everyone loved it- even my picky children! I will definitely make this a lot! Thank you for an excellent recipe.

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
My search for the best oven roast is over. This is it !! The best beef I've ever had. My roast was pretty small - so the initial bake time was adjusted - but I still left it in the oven for close to 3 hours. I used the Montreal Steak spice.... amazing!!

Awesome!!! Used ground flax seeds and frozen mixed berries - didn't have honey - no need for it. Otherwise followed recipe... This is my breakfast from today on - thank you for an excellent recipe.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Excellent every time. Don't add anything - it will take away from the banana flavour.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
I hate to say that I love this - but that I changed the recipe.....but I cut slits into the sausage and quickly fried them in a pan with very little oil before putting them in the slow cooker. That's the only change I made to this recipe - but I feel it made it much better.

Serbian Ground Beef, Veggie, and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
I am Serbian - and this is not a Serbian dish. I do know the dish your boyfriend is talking about and it definitely does not have green bell pepper, celery or cloves and cinnamon in it. Tnaks for trying though.

Serbian Cevapcici

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
Wow - great! I've had chevapi in Belgrade, Serbia and in Sarajevo. I prefer them without lamb or with only a bit of lamb. Traditionally served with chopped white onion, kajmak and ajvar on lepinje... oh man! My father in law made chevapi in his own restaurant and always added mirneral water to the meat mixture. I buy lepinje at a serbian bakery and had these on them. It's rare to find real kajmak - expensive - but worth it. Thanks for an excellent recipe!!!
