Pesto Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2014
My husband and I loved this recipe...very easy. I used boneless, skinless thighs instead of breasts and they turned out great!

Pumpkin Bread

OMG! this is wonderful! moist and flavorful...I followed the recipe almost exactly - I added a dash of ginger and mixed a handful of roasted pumpkin seeds into the batter, and sprinkled some on top before baking. THANK YOU for this recipe!!!

A to Z Everything-but-the-Kitchen-Sink Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2011
A disappointment. Too thin, didn't stay together well, too much "stuff" and not enough "cookie". The only saving grace for this was that I can crumble this mess up and use it for ice cream topping. The taste was only average. Deleting this from my recipe box.

Glazed Apple Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2010
I made this for a family get together and everyone raved about this recipe. I didn't give it 5 stars because while everyone else thought it was wonderful, I thought it was just ok. I'm not sure what I need to do to make it better, and I will make this recipe again, so I may be back to edit this review...

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2010
This was a great recipe and really easy to make. I couldn't find fresh rosemary so just used some dried that I had and it was still pretty good. My husband loved it, and several people at work asked for the recipe when I heated the leftovers up for lunch the next day. Definitely will make this again.

Tuna Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
This is the tuna casserole I remember my aunt making......it was great. I used leftover turkey instead of tuna this time, it was still really good.

Donna's Chocolate Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2009
This had a good flavor, though not as moist as I would have preferred. I might try this again, adding a little more zucchini and maybe some chocolate chips, as well.

This was REALLY good! I took some to work for lunch as a leftover and a coworker begged for the recipe just based on the smell - she hadn't even tasted it yet! Thanks for posting this one!!

Rushin' Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
I tried this recipe because it reminded me of a Turkish dish that I love....my husband really liked this - I used what I thought was a lot of garlic and it was still pretty bland for my taste. I might try this again with some adjustments - I can see it has some potential....thanks for posting this recipe.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
I altered this a little - I added some chipotle chili powder, some frozen corn, a can of diced tomatoes, and about 3/4 cup shredded cheese. I also used brown rice vs. white rice. I loved it, though I could have cooked it a little longer - maybe I'll parboil the peppers next time. My husband liked the filling. I will definitely make this again!

Garlic Chicken with Orzo Noodles

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
I read the previous reviews that said this was kind of bland, so I kind of modified it. My family doesn't like spinach, so I used a can of diced tomatoes, and instead of red pepper flakes from a jar, I crushed my own (ouch! I forgot to wear gloves!!). I had inadvertently used the fresh parmesan for another recipe so had to use from a jar, but it was ok. That said, my family LOVED this recipe and it was SO EASY!!
