Tomato Basil Pasta

Eh, nothing special. Chef Hubby & Chef Son thought it was too bland. I'll probably look for another recipe that will cater to their 'snobby' palates better! A good starter recipe for newbies, though.

Sun-Dried Tomato and Bow Tie Pasta

This recipe was really good to me because I love sun-dried tomatoes but the spices were lacking a little. I followed the recipe to the t. The family was not so impressed so I probably won't make this again. Sorry.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Exceptional! I followed this recipe exactly but added cinnamon & nutmeg per others' suggestions. I also added a splash of pure vanilla which really made these decadent.

Reva's Potato Cheese Soup

Excellent! I added a few more tablespoons of marjoram and bohnenkraut in addition to a couple cloves of garlic. I blended only half of the pot for a little more 'chunky' soup. Used grated cheese instead of cubed and it just didn't melt as well - lesson learned! But it didn't matter, the flavor was still awesome!!

Maple Pancakes

The pancakes tasted okay but they were not light and fluffy - very dense and heavy. Worth the $5 at Costco for the big box of Bisquick!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Excellent base recipe - I used 1 Tbsp fresh orange zest, 1 cup Craisins & one package white chocolate chips per other reviewers' suggestions. They turned out perfectly soft with 8 minutes of baking time. Heavenly!
