I love chili and have tried numerous recipes. This one is so-so. I followed directions except didn't use the brand name chili seasoning the original poster suggested. I did use the salsa she suggested though. It came out ok, but nothing spectacular.

Strawberry Shortcake

Didn't have any baking mix, so I decided on this recipe instead of my normal, easy shortcake recipe. Glad I did! Just as easy and yummy! I didn't follow the directions for layering. Just baked and cut up; then poured sweetened strawberries all over.

Poke Cake I

This is different than I had prepared poke cake in the past. I'd always just made the cake according to the package directions and poured the gelatin over. This recipe was much richer and softer than just following the box directions. However, it makes a very THICK cake in a 9x13. Next time I will cut the recipe in half or make two cakes.

The Big Easy Jambalaya

Good recipe. Not as spicy as I would have hoped. I couldn't find the andouille sausage, so used kielbasa instead. Tasty & perfect recipe for fat tuesday!

Cocktail Meatballs

Butter Icing for Sugar Cookies

Finally! I think I've found the perfect icing for sugar cookies. I've tried at least 10 different kinds over the years. Some aren't spreadable, others get too hard, others stay to soft. So far, on day 2, this icing is still perfect. Yummy and holds together well without getting too hard. Thanks so much!

Green Bean Fries

I didn't have "seasoned" bread crumbs, just plain bread crumbs, so I probably should have added something else to it to season it up a bit, but it was still good. I just added a lot of salt at the end and dipped in ranch dressing. Good base recipe that can be seasoned the way you want it.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Very, very simple to make - I liked that. It was a good sauce. Just tasted like a really good barbecue sauce, though. Nothing extraordinary. But I loved the ease of making it versus a whole chicken or pork.

Chili-Lime Chicken Kabobs

Strawberry Pie

Good, but as many others stated, very very sweet. I like using gelatin because its so easy, but I can't seem to find a recipe that uses gelatin, but still allows the fresh strawberry flavor to come through.

Grilled Chicken Kabobs

This was a very good marinade. I followed directions exactly except cut my chicken into chunks. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the spiciness. I'm not sure why mine turned out sooooo spicy. I loved the spiciness, but I made it for guests who don't like spiciness as much. I thought it was extremely spiciness and next time will try not to add as much black pepper.

World's Best Lasagna

Easy Alfredo Sauce II

Excellent - so easy and delicious. I've made many alfredo sauces from this website and this one is just as great as some of the others, but much, much easier. As stated in the recipe, the original mixture will be like finely scrambled eggs. Its amazing, when you put it on the warm pasta, it just melts and looks great.

Fried Zucchini

I've never liked fried zucchini until this. My husband has always made the basic flour/egg recipe and I wasn't too impressed. This, however, was very tasty. Only thing I changed was to sprinkle a little salt on all after done and I didn't do onions at all, although next time I think I will try it.
