About this Cook
I am a new mom, my son is about 10 months old. He is starting to try things his dad and I make. We are trying to learn new health meals that we can make as a family.
My favorite things to cook
I love making casseroles and appetizers! My favorite casserole to make is Tator Tot Casserole, it is to die for.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Each December the ladies in my family get together and we make Christmas Candy. It is so much fun and a great bonding experience.
My cooking triumphs
Well I haven't had one yet but I hope I can this Thanksgiving by suprising my family with something yummy.
My cooking tragedies
Once I made a basil chicken and pasta and instead of using 1 Tbs. of basil I used 1 cup.. it was a true tragedy. We went out for Chinese that night.

Amazing Butternut Squash
My boyfriend and my son loved this recipe, but next time I will only use 1/4 of the requested mayo. They loved the crunchiness on top so I will also add more crackers next time.

Pesto Sauce
This sauce was exactly what I was looking for but just a little too garlicky for me. I only put in 3 cloves but it was still a little too much for us. Next time I will only use 1-2 cloves but other than that, I couldn’t have been happier with the result. I added some chicken and used pine nuts instead of walnuts. It was delicious!
