About this Cook
My cooking triumphs
New England Clam Chowder...just graduated from nursing school, was nervous about the boards. My neighbor went clamming and gave me a cooler plus full of clams. So I never made clam chowder b4, found a basic recipe and tweaked it. Sent over a container of the chowder to the neighbor and she said it was 5star, better than the top restaurats. Gave some to a friend when she came over and made that mmmmmmm sound after every bite. Then she went home and bragged to her husband that she just ate the best New England Clam Chowder ever!!

Teriyaki Sauce
What a great and easy recipe. I make it on the healthy side though. Instead of soy sauce I used Bragg Liquid Aminos (a soy sauce alternative) and used splenda instead of sugar. My boyfriend, who is very picky, said the teriyaki sauce had a really great flavor. For him to say that it had to be really good.
