Ricotta Gnocchi

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
Everyone in my house loved this recipe! It took a long time to roll out the gnocchi, so next time, I will make those in advance. Also, I think I'll add some ricotta cheese to the tomato sauce, and maybe more tomatoes as well. Thank you for this awesome recipe!

This recipe has a lot of potential...Next time I will do a garlic butter injection and use fresh basil. I think oregano does better on italian cuisine...thanks! :)

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
I am a huge fan of cilantro, but did not enjoy it in this dish. I thought it was very tasty before I added the cilantro, but after adding it there were too many flavors going on. It tasted overcomplicated. I will definitely make this agin, but w/out the cilantro, thank you for the recipe!

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
my family has very high expectations, as we are all cooks, and this recipe was recieved very well! definitely going into the rotation! i doubled the marinade, also added some cut fresh jalapenos to the marinade, and for the veggie skewers, i used mini sweet peppers, kiwi, zucchini, red potatoes etc and brushed them w/ a garlic/olive oil mix and salted them. (for the potatoes i used season salt) thank you for this great recipe!

Mozechilli Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2010
I was very skeptical of this recipe due to the lack of spices and its simplicity...but I like to try the recipes the way they are written before I make any changes so...I cant believe it didnt need any spices! My entire family loved this and requested we have it instead of spaghetti or lasagna! 5 stars! (The only thing I would add is some diced tomatoes) :)

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
Although this is not shepherds pie, its cottage pie, It was very good! Instead of shred cheddar, I used our new favorite mexican style blend of monterey jack, cheddar, queso quesadilla and asadero shred. I also used beef gravy instead of broth. I used frozen mix veggies, also the fresh carrots, and in the end, I mixed an extra can of peas. My family loved it thank you!

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
Very easy! I followed the recipe exactly and i used fuji apples. I thought there was a tad too much cinnamon so next time i will use 1 1/2 tsp. Before putting in jars i hit it with the blender for a few minutes. My husband is very critical, and he loves it! Thank you!
