Peach Sorbet

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2010
This was very good! Personally, i would use a little less lemon juice and a bit more sugar as it was a bit more tart than I usually like. My husband (who is a big fan of tartness) LOVED it. =)

Christmas Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
these were good, but i was not wild about the sauce. It was too vinegary for my taste. I'd half the vinegar next time. However, my husband who likes tart and vinegary things thought they were excellent!

Italian Sausage Soup II

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
Very tasty! I also used potatoes instead of noodles since noodles seem to get mushy in soups.

Never Fail Fruit Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
I loved it! I actually needed 2 large mixing bowls to get all the ingredients mixed together! While I was making it I had decided that if no one ate it, I wasn't going through the trouble of making it again as it was kind of a pain to mix together. I had to fight to keep a couple of slices for myself! lol. I guess I'll be making this next year too! =) Also, I used dried fruit instead of candied fruit because I hate those candied pineapples that are dyed green! yuck!

Pebber Nodder (Danish Christmas Cookies)

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2010
I just made these yesterday. I didn't get 100 cookies out of the recipe, but perhaps I made them bigger than they're supposed to be. (?) They're not very pretty but they sure taste good! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I doubled the cardamom and cinnamon, like other reviewers suggested, and I think they could still use a little more. (but I really like spicy things!) Also, my dough was really sticky and hard to work with, as in it wasn't capable of being rolled into balls. I added at least 5 TBS of flour before it was firm enough to be manipulated. I don't know if it was elevation, humidity, or just the recipe. However, once I got it just right, they turned out perfect! =)

Lemon Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2009
Very Tasty! The lemon was nice in it. I added about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of chopped pecans to mine. (didn't measure) I think I'll make this next time I have people over. Again, very very yummy!

Sweet Potato and Hazelnut Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
It was good, but seemed kind of bland to me. Maybe I just picked out bad potatoes? I added a little bit more cider and some brown sugar, but couldn't get it to taste just right. (to me).

Whipped Cardamom Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
These were really good! I would personally add more cardamom next time I make these but I really like cardamom! I'd also add more shallots.

Onion Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2011
I've made these for Thanksgiving for the last 3 years. (I don't like the super sweet candied yams. ICK!) This is a very easy recipe and very tasty! The sweet from the potatoes and the savory from the onion soup mix go really well together.

Cornucopia

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
This was super easy and fun! One thing to be careful of, my cornucopia was done in about half the baking time. Almost a little too done! So, check the oven after 20 min and again every 5 min or so and it should be perfect! Also, I used the garlic breadsticks instead of the regular ones. I intend on eating that sucker! =)

Pumpkin Spice Cake II

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
Very tasty! I made this for Christmas and it was a big hit. I followed another commenter's suggestion and only used half the oil and it came out just about perfect. Very moist. One thing, though, My cake was done in like 20 minutes, not the 45 minutes the recipe says. I don't know if it was my oven or not, but check your cake often! I came very close to burning mine.

Oranged Cranberry Sauce

A little tart for me, but everyone else loved it at Thanksgiving. My grandmaw begged for the recipe. =) I added a bit more sugar than the recipe called for.
