Breaded Parmesan Ranch Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2014
Followed the recipe to a tee except for using panko instead of cereal and baked for 30 minutes instead of 45. Everyone LOVED it! Great flavor with delicious crispy edges! This will now be a staple in our kitchen. Thanks for a great recipe!

Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2013
The best steak I've ever made!!! My 5yr old twins love it too!(they call it the "yummy steak") I only tweak it a little. The sauce is sooo good and I find there's not enough of it. I double(or sometimes triple) the beer, teryaki, & brown sugar. It's too much to add more seasoning unless using more steak. After marinating, I separate the steaks from the sauce and boil the alcohol from it(and thicken it by simmering& adding 2 TBSP of flour). Then use the extra to dunk the steak in. I usually use it for steak tips, and eveyone I've ever made it for loves it!

Easy Asparagus

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
My whole family loves this asparagus recipe(including my kids!)! I'm so surprised at the review stating to eliminate the crackers, since I think they added such great taste & texture. The best was the way some of the crackers, onions, etc got a lil crispy when seared. So tasty & easy! The only thing I substituted was the wine(didn't have some on hand) so I've tried both 1TBSP of white vinegar diluted with 1/4cup H20, or chix broth(both in lieu of wine) and both made only a lil difference, but still tasted great! I like the broth best, though. Enjoy!!

Mama's American Chop Suey

My family likes this much better with a few added seasonings than your plain tomato/beef/onion/pasta...But it's still really easy!

Grilled Veggies- Italian Style!

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2010
Excellent with a few changes.I tried two versions. 1st exactly as above & 2nd w/balsamic vinegar instead of red,1/2 tsp basil, 1/4 tsp ground italian seasoning(I'm italian and have to add this to almost everything), and was just under the 1/2 tsp of salt and pepper each. The 1st batch was good, but too vinegary. The 2nd(altered) was perfect. Even though balsamic generally has a stronger taste than red wine vinegar, I was surprised that it tasted much better- the red vinegar was too overwhelming in the 1st batch. I also used a more expensive brand of balsamic which prob'ly made a difference too. My whole family loved this recipe with the changes I noted(including my 5 yr old twin girls). I've also made it for parties since, and have had to give the recipe out wherever I take it cuz it's a hit every time! -hope this helps!

Fluffy Pancakes with an option for Whole Wheat

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2010
Excellent! I made the whole wheat version on accident-cuz I didn't have enough all purp. flour, and they were wonderful! Much better than the previous whole wheat pancakes I've tried to make before. Mixing the two flours adds a great flavor and a little bit of healthy. Perfectly fluffy, and really great taste!

Almost perfect!!!Just a little too sweet(which I didn't think was possible)but I used 2.5 cups of sugar, and it was still pretty sweet.Otherwise,I would have rated it a 5. Loved it with less sugar and will definately make it again!
