Orange Cracker Apricot Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2013
This was tasty but I was disappointed that the cracker topping did not become crunchy, rather the chicken pieces were soggy. It was tasty enough and the family thought it tasted very similiar to a sweet n sour chicken. I will try again with a panko breading.

Basic Hummus

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
Excellent hummus! This is a great recipe for the person who does not stock tahini in their pantry. I added 1/3 cup roasted jar red sweet peppers for zip and also sauteed the garlic in sesame oil. Great flavor and big hit.

Smoked Salmon Chowder

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
We thought this was very tasty! To lighten it up we used half the butter and flour for the thickening agent and it turned out great. Great way to use leftover salmon or salmon in a can.

Crispy Cheese Twists

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
I love the flavor of these but the prep time is ridiculous. These twists take over 30 minutes to roll out and twist and the dough is extremely difficult to work with. I think, if I make again, I will roll out very thin, cut into squares like crackers and bake for 3-4 minutes.

Autumn Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
Very easy, very delicious! Definitely double this recipe UNLESS you prefer smaller portions... nothing wrong with that because it is calorie laden. It was only 2" high and I like the cheesecakes you get at that "factory" so I will double it next time. The apples make a great presentation and autumn feel. The crust was wonderful with the addition of the pecans, don't omit them, this is what gives it that extra pizzazz.

Pumpkin and Maple Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
These are okay. Bland flavor; they need a bit of sugar and some pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon. A dense, hearty biscuit. Probably wouldn't make again unless I tweeked the recipe a little.

Easy Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
These are by the far the best and easiest biscuits I have ever made! For those of you who had flat, hard ones, be sure you use self rising flour. This makes a world of difference. Also, don't roll them too thin, think big and fluffy! I brushed with melted butter for that crispy top and delicate inside. YUM! Don't be afraid to try these awesome homestyle biscuits. Thanks for sharing.
