Mary's Meatloaf

Pretty good, but may have been better if I didn't have to tweak ingredients to match the 2 lbs. of hamburger used. Also, didn't properly 'divide' the mustard & ketchup, which indirectly caused me to make the topping more sweet than ideal.

Pretty good, but lacking any taste that might set it apart; just wish I knew what that was. Texture was nice. Kids and I gave it middling review; wife liked it a bit more.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Pretty good recipe, but a bit more 'zing' would be nice; if only I knew what that was I'd have experimented with the ingredients. Still, the family all gave it a thumb-up, so we'll likely try it again.

Broccoli Chicken Divan

My wife added mushrooms & a can of mushroom soup; also added a total of 2/3 cup milk. Omitted the butter and bread crumbs. Overall, a pretty bland recipe that the kids tired of quickly. Nice texture, however. Not likely to make again.

Delicious Chicken Casserole

Pretty good. Mostly enjoyed by kids & wife, but some changes might make an improvement. Next time, will try substituting a can of cream of mushroom soup, in place of the second can of cream of chicken. Also, will need to ensure I add enough chicken (fell short when made the 1st time). Took longer than expected.

Terrific recipe - as good as any I've tried. Only change we'd recommend is lessening the # of chocolate chips. Definitely recommended.

Ginger Veggie Stir-Fry

A nice recipe, recommended. I also added some green pepper and celery. A hit with the kids, but they suggested adding meat would make it even better. Will make again, trying out the above suggestion. Will also add some water chestnuts.

Roast Beef and Gravy

Unfortunately, didn't find this nearly as appealing as others did, given feedack recorded. Used a nice inside round roast, which turned out surprisingly dry. Gravy was OK. Kids were happy with meal, but doubt I'll make it again.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Very tender & moist roast -- shredded easily. Some mixed feelings about adding the BBQ sauce, but may have been the brand we used. Kids liked it, but not as much of a hit as hoped. Will likely try again.

Very good, simple recipe. Used dry dill seasoning instead, but apparently used too much (about 1 teaspoon). Next time will try just a touch of dill. Otherwise, terrific.

Foolproof Rib Roast

Very good!! Followed recipe, but turned oven back on after 2 1/2 hours (30 minutes early). Still -- turned out great. Loved by everyone in family -- will certainly make prime rib this way again!
