Chocolate Chip Cookie Layer Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2014
The cookie/cake was fabulous. It's a cookie, no it's a cake. It's both. The icing was too sweet for my office colleagues who thought it would have been perfect without icing.

Cranberry Sauce I

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2013
I gave this recipes five stars but with the adjustments that other reviewers suggested. I agree it needed more than 10 minutes on the stove. But that extra 10 minutes really did the trick. It thickened beautifully, was a vibrant color and tasted perfect. As others have said, no more canned.

Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
I am rating this recipe with five stars.. I didn't change a thing . I would never rate a recipe that I had modified or changed dramatically. It's not fair to the cook/baker . Great chewy texture and the craisins add a slightly tart flavor. Thanks Liane.

Butter Pound Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2007
I just wish my cake looked as good as the picture but it sure smelled and tasted like a 5 star cake. I forgot to put in the vanilla and lemon extract but I did add mini chocolate chips. I also used half and half instead of the heavy cream. The finished product has a nice crusty outside and inside was moist and so sweet and tasty. I am also making it as a tier cake so the consistency was perfect for that. Thanks Diana.

Chocolate Butter-Creme Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2007
Fabulous as is, but who could resist making it even more intense. I used 3 ounces of the chocolate instead of the 1 ounce, this created a more pronounced chocolate flavor. Some of the other reviewers should try this recipe again with the additional chocolate and they will see it is a winner! If the butter softens too much (as on a humid day) allow extra time for chilling the frosting before adding to the cake.

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2006
This recipe produces a moist and dense cake. It is the best recipe for carrot cake I have ever made. The pineapple adds a sweetness and texture that is not overwhelming, just perfect! I did not use the pecans (just too expensive) but the cake still came out great.

Creamed Spinach Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2006
The other reviewers were correct. This recipe needs something more, like garlic or onions. Nothing great.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2006
Can I give this 10 stars? This is so deliciously sweet. You will become addicted to this fabulous recipe. I have made it several times for Christmas as friends have not stopped asking for it. I would not use the 7 quarts of popcorn. Reduce the amount of popcorn to five quarts and the popcorn will be more evenly coated. I have added coconut, almonds, walnuts, whatever I had left over from my holiday baking and the results were amazing!!!!!! This is a must try for Cracker Jack fans.

Fabulous Fudge Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2006
This cake is worth every star. I used a simple chocolate icing. My co-workers went crazy for this cake. I love the texture. I listened to the other reviewers and followed their advice of increasing the chocolate squares. Don't think of using less than the 5 squares if you are a chocolate lover. Very enjoyable for the chocolate lover.

Neapolitan Cookies I

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2002
Deserving of all five stars, great texture, delicious taste and not as difficult to prepare as I originally thought. I did not add the nuts and the cookies were stil wonderful. Instead of melted chocolate, I used bakers cocoa and still had great results. Thanks Missy, these are a treat.

Rainbow Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2002
I have made these countless number of times to rave reviews. They are worth all the effort. My recipe calls for greasing the 9x13 pan then add wax pax and grease that, bake cookies and flip onto board the green layer, then spread preserves, then yellow, etc. It has never failed me.

This recipe is fantastic! To make it even easier, if that is possible, use canned white potatoes, drain and follow the recipe. What a huge hit and no one knew it was so EASY!!!!!!
