Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
Wow! Outstanding!! This has become my favorite to take to all get togethers. I always bring copies of the recipe because people love it so much! I will be making this many times a year for as long as I can still use a knife!! :)

Wild Rice Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
Very delicious! I used chicken instead of turkey because I am not a big turkey fan... I also use fat free mayo. It is great on toasted bread or on it's own for a lite and healthy lunch. It's a keeper!!

Tomato Cakes

I tried these just for fun one day and was pleasantly surprised. They were really very good!! I think I might add a bit of basil, garlic and parmesan next time just to jazz them up a bit. Otherwise a very tasty budget friendly meal!

Really great flavors together.. I used kalamata olives because those were all I had and I served it with grilled chicken breasts. Rave review from my guests! I will definitely make this again. Thanks Danielle

Sausage Barley Soup

Great soup! I used spicy Italian sausage and a bit more barley than it called for (I love barley) I doubled the recipe and froze some for later. I also put in a bit more carrots. A very delicious and hearty soup!

Mulligatawny Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
Wow! Super good! The flavors are amazing together and it gets better a day or two later (if it lasts that long!) I use evaporated skim milk instead of heavy cream to cut down on fat and double the recipe because I love the leftovers! A must try!!

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
When I make this everyone says it is the best chili they have ever had!! I don't add green pepper but a large can of diced green chilis. Also canned diced tomatoes with juice instead of just tomato juice. Seasoning is perfect. Thanks for a great recipe George!!

Cheddar Batter Bread

I didn't grease my pan enough and it broke in half!! But I thought it was delicious and served it with "It's Chili by George" from this site. Super good toasted with butter with leftover chili the next day!! Maybe add a bit more onion/garlic next time?
