Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

Reviewed: May 5, 2013
Unbelievable! Made these with the recommendation of adding an extra cup of oats; not the quick cook oats, extra craisens and no raisens, 1/2 bag (6oz) white chocolate chips, plus a dash of cinnamon. Out of this world! I also made them quite large, can't recall how many I got out of them, maybe 18. I still baked them at 350 for 12 minutes. They were slightly crispy on top but soft and delicious; just the way I like it.

Chocolate Chip Bread I

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2012
Made this twice in the last two days; as the first time the chocolate chips went in too early and I had chocolate bread. It was my first time using my new bread maker and used automatic fruit and nut dispenser. I made it again last night and put the chocolate chips in myself. It turned out so great! Both times really. The flavors were perfect. I did add 1/2 tsp. of extra cinnamon to the second batch. Excellent!!!

Sauerkraut Rye Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2012
Really good bread! I did end up doubling the caraway and it was very flavorful and smelled delicious. I also LOVE sauerkraut so I drained the kraut and shortened my water by 1/4 cup and it came out very moist but not too moist. I really wanted to get as much kraut flavor as possible.

Chef John's Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2012
Excellent! I ended up using thyme instead of tarragon as I didn't have any. It was so good! I rarely have seconds of salmon, even when I cook it, but I totally had seconds of this! My husband and houseguest also loved it. Truly delicious!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2012
Oh yes! So delicious! My first time ever baking brownies from scratch. I used 1.5 cups of brown sugar and 1.5 cups of white sugar like another reviewer recommended. I also only had had three eggs on hand so I used a splash of oil. Unbelievable! Once they were cooled COMPLETELY, they were PERFECTION!

Greek Garbanzo Bean Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
Oh my gosh! This is so delicious! I just ate some! I had to try it before I put it in the refrigerator. I want to go back into the fridge and eat it all! This recipe gets all the credit but I had to make some modifications because of what I had on hand; I used kalamata olives, tomatoes on the vine and white onion. My husband works nights, it's 8:30 p.m. now, so he's sleeping but I cannot wait for him to wake up so we can eat this! It's such an easy recipe to prepare and I can't believe the flavors. Thank you for bringing this into my life! :)

Calzone

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2012
Made just the dough and put in a wide array of ingredients inside. My husband went nuts, it was so good. He told me to invite people over just so we can make it for them. Excellent!

Ricardo's Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
Excellent dough! I've made it many times now, sometimes without the herbs, just depends on the kind of pizza or how much effort I want to put into it. Turns out great every time. No modifications necessary.

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
I made this but substituted whole wheat flour. Was a little dense but obviously that was just because of the wheat. It was super easy to make, a wonderful consistency to work with. I'm about to make it again right now but with half all-purpose. This recipe is no doubt great the way it's written, I agree with others who say to not complicate it. It doesn't need to rise. It's fantastic!

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
Amazing! Like others I lessened the amount of salt for the marinade to 1/2 t. I also ended up baking the chicken instead of grilling. I baked it in the marinade and I will do that next time as well because I really wanted to keep the flavors. I was so amazed at how well this tasted. Nice and spicy. Unbelievable!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
So amazing! I did bake it with bread crumbs, like a previous reviewer stated. I also ended up using twice as many chilies and about 24 oz of jalapeƱo, I know it sounds like a lot, but I would add a little and test it on a sourdough round. I just kept doing that until I ran out. Of course baking it made it spicier and I don't know if I just had really mild jalapeƱos, but don't be afraid to spice it up. I made it for New Years and I'm making it tomorrow for the Super Bowl! Go Pack Go!. Spicy but it tasted very authentic. It was all adults at the party and it was the first (and only) dish out of 15ish to be completely gone. I was giving the recipe out at the end of the night.

Frosty Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2008
It's great. I think its perfect for people who might not be a huge fan of traditional pumpkin pie or just want to change it up, you still get that holiday flavor just in a different way.
