We used toasted sesame seeds rather than peanuts to garnish, dried chives (in sauce, he goofed), hot pepper paste from an Asian market. Sauce was runny if not heated enough or when not using pepper paste. (Which gives it a darker color as you can see in other peoples photos).

Ginger Collard Greens

First time cooking collard greens, I picked this one because it has the simplest ingredients. But I'm not sure WHAT is it suppose to be (a soup?). I measured out the 3Qts of water, boiled down a little bit. I'm going to add cooked sliced carrots to it and make it a soup. (Tastes a bit like spinach, but not as strong flavor).

Zucchini Tomato Pie

I've made this twice. Made slight changes the second time. The bisquick mix was bland when not eaten with a bite of vegetable, so I added the parm cheese salt and pepper to the mix after I beat it. (rather than on the veggies). I used frozen chopped onions (defrosted before adding to dish. 1/2 cup was to much, so I decreased second time.) Much "lighter" than a quiche.

Carrot Soup

TOO SPICY!!! I used less than 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper! I have used this recipe multiple times. Here are some other changes I made... -Omitted red pepper -Used 3 cans carrots (makes it super easy) -Used 3/4 cup light cream and 1 1/4 cup milk...came out fine. -If too spicy add more cream/half/half/milk and potato flakes to thicken.

Easy Peach Crisp II

I added 1/2 cup of oatmeal and 1/2 cup brown sugar to the topping as suggested by: SHADYB. 2 15 oz cans did not even cover the 13x9 pan so I added another can. There was alot of the dry topping, and after cooking it for the 40 mins it was still floury and only the edges had "dissolved". It was not edible at that stage. So I poured the peach liquid on top and cooked for another 10 mins. It was not crispy at all, but flavor was good.

Popcorn Macaroons

I was a bit confused if the "2 cups popped popcorn" was to be measured before or after processing it. Two unprocessed cups were not enough, so I doubled it. Also not sure about the artifical sweetener...2 regular measured tablespoons? This was the first recipe I used artificial sweeteners so I don't know the proper measurements on it. (anyways they ended up in the trash, they were to sweet) I'm willing to try them again with proper instructions though.

Apple Yam Casserole

...although I didn't experience making it. I Introduced a friend to this website and he invited me over to try it. Mmmm good, and I really don't eat sweet potato's. It is a mix between a meal and dessert with the apples and cinnamon:)
