About this Cook
I'm a college student who overcompensates not doing his school work by improving his cooking.
My favorite things to cook
I like tweaking recipes to make them simpler, low-sugar, low-fat, whole wheat, look pretty, and require less time to cook. Yes, I am a freak.
My favorite family cooking traditions
soy sauce + garlic + ginger = GOOD
My cooking triumphs
Ramen noodles with vegetables when I was younger.
My cooking tragedies
I am notorious for leaving our baking powder/soda or yeast out of baked goods.

Fruity Curry Chicken Salad
I just made this, and it tastes amazing. Tomorrow it will taste even more flavorful. I used almonds instead of pecans, yogurt for the mayo, and about doubled the curry powder. It's sweet, tart, and a little spicy all in one fantastic dish.

Cinnamon Rolls I
OOey and gooey goodness. I halved the white sugar, doubled the cinnamon, and added 1 tsp nutmeg. These smell great in the kitchen while baking.

Whole Wheat and Honey Pizza Dough
Maybe it's personal preference, but the thinner the crust, the better. The dough seems too dense and overpowers the the pizza toppings if the crust isn't thinned out. Nevertheless, the honey makes this crust really scrumptious.
