Pudding Icing

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
This frosting was great. Took a while to thicken up and the bakers chocolate looked quite funny during the cooking process but it all came together in the end. I will be using recipe for many many cakes in my future. Also I used Orange extract instead of vanilla (I had run out), and the citrus flavor really added to the chocolate flavor.

Crazy Cake

This turned out wonderfully! Stays moist for quite a few days. I paired it with the "pudding frosting" from this site and it was chocolaty without being overly sweet.

Asiago Toasted Cheese Puffs

My sister hosted an appetizer party the other weekend and these were a hit. Followed the recipe exactly for the spread but used garlic asiago bread, it was wonderful!

Cranberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
This was the best cheesecake I have made so far. I used shortbread cookies for the crumb crust. When I make the cranberry sauce I let it reduce quite a bit longer than what was stated in the recipe and just blended it in my blender. Worked wonderfully. I did a layering effect with the batter, then sauce, then batter and so on 4 times then marbled it. I really liked how the filling turned out with only baking it 45 min then letting it sit. I brought it to thanksgiving when meeting the boyfriends mom and she thought it was to die for, so thank you sooo much for this recipe. I am on the good side for at least another year!

Slow Cooker Venison Burritos

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
I had it without the shredded cheese and it was awesome. A very easy to prepare one dish meal and can feed quite a large family. One was filling enough that I didn't overeat. Quite a nice meal.
