Gooey Butter Cake III

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
Excellent. The best cake ever. VERY sweet, but oh so yummy. Plus it will travel well for the holidays. Wouldn't it taste yummy with some berry's or blueberry pis filling on top?

No Bake Chocolate Cookies II

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2009
Great recipe. Keep in mind this is candy making. After a year making these and sometimes getting it right and sometimes not, I finally figured it out. This should not take more than 1 or 2 minutes boiling. But what I call boiling and what you call boiling and be quite different. But the cooking time totaly effects the results everyone is talking about, too soft, grainy. To start with your better to cook too long at least then you have something usable, too hard, but edible. Then you can decrease the time until you find what works for you. Consistency is also affected by altitude and the weather. These rarely work on a rainy day.

Colcannon

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
Served this for St.Patty;s day and what a hit it was!! I used onions because I had no leeks. I also added 1 bunch of kale. I cooked the kale seperately, chopped it up and stirred it in last,I do not know if it would have tinted the dish green and I liked the look of it being white with green spottes. I also used a whole head of cabbage. This was awesome

Runzas (Bierocks)

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
We have added this to our regular menu. I always add more cabbage if I can. But we love having something new and different. Plus it is a great way to incorporate those veggies we do not like!!

Apple Pecan Cobbler

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
This was PERFECT! I followed another posters suggestion to use baking soda instead of powder and it was awesome. I would call this a cake and I have been trying for years to make an apple cake just like this.I did leave out the pecans because I did not have any.
