Baked Fish Dinner For Two

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
This was very good. I followed one reviewer's suggestion to start the potatoes in the microwave, but otherwise followed Steve's recipe. The celery, leek, garlic, and bell pepper gave this receipe plenty of flavor. The prep can be done while the previous step is cooking, so this dish can be on the table in 40 minutes. - Thanks!

Asian Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
Very good dressing, please do use the sesame oil. I sliced boneless breasts into strips and sauted them in sesame oil and olive oil...they were quite tasty. I also used mixed greens, added julienned carrots, and used chow mein noodles since that's what I had. Very good salad!

Heavenly Hot Dog Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
I grew up on midwestern "Spanish Hot Dogs," and even worked at B&K Root Beer making hot dogs in my youth. This is an excellent sauce, perhaps the best I've had! Wolf Brand??...I don't think so!!

Mexican Shrimp Cocktail

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
Sarah really nailed this restaurant-quality recipe...except I like mine hotter, so I added 1/4 cup diced jalapeno (no seeds) and 1 tablespoon of habanero tabasco sauce.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
Very good, and it doesn't get any easier. Beef roast tasted like beef, sweetish gravy went well with mashed potatoes. My 3.5 lb round roast was 160 degrees in 5.5 hrs. After removing the roast, I strained the juices before adding the butter/flour mixture. Wife and teenagers liked this recipe, and we'll cook it again.

Amatriciana

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
Really a nice quick, fresh sauce. I used thick sliced bacon, chopped small, and liked how it retained it's flavor. If tomatoes don't cook down in time, use a potato masher to break them up. Wife and teenagers all voted it a keeper.
