OMG!!!! My new love!!! Soooo very yummy. I will making this often this summer. Great appetizer and I used leftovers in a mango salsa the next day. So simple yet totally delicious. A must try for summer bar-b-ques! I will be putting this on burgers next!

Chai Tea Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
Ran across this recipe before Christmas and decided to try it. Wow, no more Starbucks for me. This chai is great. The only problem I had is getting everything to dissolve and stay mixed. I have a vita mix blender and ran everything thru twice, still by the time you finish a cup you get grains of tea or spices floating in your mug. Maybe a food processor would do better. It is a bit pricey to make. The cardamom is $10 bucks alone! I bought all the ingredients and it made about 2 1/2 batches. I ended up making about 6 batches due to the request from everyone who tried it. I have my own stash tucked away for the rest of the winter. I will definatley be making, and giving this again next year. I gave a tin of chai and some Grandma Johnson's Scones as gifts to co workers and neighbors. Perfect!

Authentic Chinese Egg Rolls (from a Chinese person)

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
This recipe has become a Christmas eve tradition with our family. Mendy, your mom is a great cook! Thanks for sharing this recipe. I think it will stay in our family for 300 years! I added some chopped shrimp and used ground pork instead of the roast. If you chop veggies and cook the filling the day before it's a bit easier. I made 80 of these and they were gone in a flash! Everyone can get involved chopping, rolling etc... I'm so glad you shared this recipe. Totally YUMMY! A bit time consuming but totally worth it!
