I liked this; just finished a huge plate of it. But it was not the amazing taste or flavor I expected from reviews. I thought I should season the meat, but decided to just follow the recipe to the letter (besides adding a dollop of tomato paste and some fresh basil to the sauce). I wish I would have followed my instincts. I think some salt, pepper, garlic, sage, thyme, oregano, etc. in the meat would have enhanced the flavor. I also thought perhaps I would have had different results with a more expensive, flavorful spaghetti sauce, and that was why the recipe by itself was so great. Hopefully next batch (since it's so huge!) will be more flavorful.
