Green Bean Okazu

Tomato Spinach and Bean Burrito

I didn't use beef, but ground chicken and chicken stock instead to make it less fattening. It was quite good. I also added some garlic salt and some Italian seasonings and used a can of diced tomatos with garlic. Only used 1 lb of meat and it was plenty. Very easy.

No Bake Sugar Free Cheese Cake

Both my husband and father-in-law must watch their sugar. I served this to them for dessert last night and both were suprised how well it tasted. I even used fat free cream cheese and cool whip. I just would have liked the lemon flavor to be alittle stronger.

Chicken and Pumpkin Lasagna

I admit, at first I was alittle put off by the pumpkin, but I figured I'd try it. I'm glad I did. First, I did not have pumpkin soup, so I used canned pumpkin. Second you shouldn't cook the noodles, that is why the other reviewer's was liquidy and you have to let it sit for the 10-15 minutes after cooking. The pumpkin flavor was almost undetectable. It's a great way to get some veggies in your kids and husband for that matter!

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

Love it, love it, love it! The cheese mixtures was great. I ate all the leftovers myself. Do not add the water. I also used frozen meatballs and it was soooo easy to prepare. I don't make many things twice, but this I will. Great for a party!!

Rachel's Cream Cheese Fruit Salad

Nice change of pace from the normal fruit salad. I added the pretzels, then wished I didn't. They turned mushy and unappealing in just a few hours. I also added some raspberries. Great sauce!

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Out of the 9 different cookies I made this Christmas season, these were the biggest hit. I couldn't get them out of my brother-in-laws hands!! I used the cherry flavored Cranraisins and also vanilla extract instead of rum. Wow!!

Pasta and Bean Skillet

It had to simmer a bit longer than 15 minutes, the macaroni was still hard. After removing the pot from the stove I stirred in some cheddar cheese and some sour cream to give it more of a mexican taste. Then still put more cheese on top. Loved it. Really quick and easy!!

Pierogies and Cabbage

Wow! Loved it!! I knew my husband wasn't crazy about pierogies but I love them, so I gave it a try. He loved it and even went back for seconds. It was a nice change from the normal old pierogies with butter. Thanks for the great recipe!!

Baked Kielbasa and Potatoes in Sauce

I halved the recipe and I cooked it for 1 hour uncovered then another 20 minutes covered with foil since it was getting crisp. I used turkey kielbasa and also had sliced red onion and some mushrooms. Everyone really enjoyed it.

October Apple Pie

I used a combination of Cortlands and Macs. Next time I'll use Granny Smiths though. I wanted more of a carmel flavor so I added a few more but I cut down on the white sugar, only 1/8 cup so it wasn't too sweet. Next time I'll leave it out all together. Everyone enjoyed it, even with a store bought crust.

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

So simple! It was a big hit at my Labor Day BBQ. I also added some chocolate chips and mini marshmallows with the peanuts. Adults and kids loved it.

Peach Whirligigs

Looked great and simple to make. I cut the rolls into smaller slices so there was more of them. They were the best part. There was alittle too much liquid in the bottom of the pan though.
