Rhubarb Coffee Cake

very good cake, but better with rhubarb syrup on top. Just take cubed rhubarb and about 1/2 c. water and sugar cook in sauce pan until rhubarb is soft, about 10 min. Mash. Add more water if needed. Mix in about 1 t. of corn starch with water and cook that in as well. You can also add a little bit of red food coloring to the sauce to make it a little more red

Mariu's Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

Made almost as directed except for the mint (I just didnt have any). It was very good the hubby loved it. Looks just like normal spaghetti with meat sauce but alot less acidic. I will be making this again!

Puerto Rican Pork Roast

Cut the seasonings down since I only had a 4lb roast. Cooked for about 1/2 hr per lb and was wonderful! Baked first with fat on bottom then the last 1/2 uncovered and baked with fat on top.

Very good. I did double the batch and used 1 lb of ground chuck and 1 lb of pork and reduced the amount of red pepper to my families taste, other than that made as directed. Yum!
