Jerre's Black Bean and Pork Tenderloin Slow Cooker Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
Something was missing in this recipe, just not sure what. Awfully expensive meat to be slow cooking it. Probably won't make again.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2011
Excellent cobbler! Only changes for next time - add more cinnamon (i'd double it), and make 1/3 more topping - it was the best part!

Green Beans with Cherry Tomatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
This was nice and refreshing. The store did not have fresh basil, so I used the chopped fresh basil in a tube. I also substituted 1 Tbsp olive oil for butter and skipped the sugar.

Pineapple Fried Quinoa

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
Very good with a bit of a spicy 'bite" to it! My son-in-law begged for the recipe. Due to what I had on hand, I subbed olive oil for peanut oil, more broth for the water, a small diced white onion for the green onion, used canned pineapple tidbits and added 1 1/2 cups diced cooked ham to make it a satisfying main dish. Blend of flavors was just right!

Quinoa with Peas and Parmesan

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
Even without celery and substituting olive oil for the coconut oil due to what I had on hand, it was a hit! My vegetarian daughter requests this often and her very non-vegetarian boyfriend loved it as well.

Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
Easy to make, and excellent flavors. Served it in a pumpernickel round and there were no leftovers. Used the idea from another post to put the dip in a bowl and cut the hole in the bread to accommodate the bowl. Will definitely make again.
