I quadrupled the recipe for a party of 15 adults and 7 kids with the following changes: Used 2c of noodles instead of 1.5c (for a total of 8c), omitted the baking step and the bread crumb topping. I made this the night before, mixing the cheese sauce and the cooked noodles together, placed it in a crock pot. 2 hours before the party I turned the crock pot on low to heat through and then down to warm once the party started. I only had a small bowl left by the end of the party. I used skim milk, real butter, sharp cheddar cheese and 1/3 less fat store-brand velveeta. Everyone liked it. Thanks for sharing. Update 7/2014: made this again for a party. Quadrupled recipe again. Used 2# elbows, 1 can Campbell's cheddar cheese soup instead of Velveeta, 2c mild cheddar and 2c NY sharp cheddar. It's better than the original.
