Kathy's French Toast Bake

Very nice taste, and it rose up and achieved a nice puffy result. However, the cream cheese did not add anything at all to it, so I would totally eliminate it next time. The cream cheese chunks did not melt, just remained exactly where you placed them before baking, browned on top, and actually did not have much taste. The end result looked like toasted marshmallows on top. For someone like me who does not make French Toast but likes it a lot, this was a good recipe and one I would make it again.

Best Oven Baked French Toast

This was a big disappointment.. I wish I could say something good about it, but I cannot. Also, it doesn't taste like French Toast at all.

Grandmother's Muffins

The muffins had a good taste, but the tops were soft and sticky, instead of firm and crunchy, and they didn't brown much, even though I had to extend the baking time 15 minutes.

Good Morning Egg Bake

This sausage egg bake is out of this world! Quick, easy, delicious, and it browned very nicely on top. Since Campbell's Soup no longer sells Nacho Cheese Soup (where I live, anyway), I used Cheddar Cheese Soup and added a dash of hot sauce and about a teaspoon of chili powder.

Cheddar Onion Drop Biscuits

Great biscuits.. delicious! The outside had a golden brown crunchiness, and the inside is moist & very tasty! I did not have dried minced onion, so I used dried chives. The name should be changed to "Cheddar Parmesan Drop Biscuits".

Texas Praline Coffee Cake

It smelled great while it was in the oven, but the bottom 2/3 never bakes. I baked it for 2 hrs, & the bottom 2/3 was still raw dough.

Lemon Cranberry Muffins

Excellent! I made the large size muffins, and baked them 25 minutes. I used dried cranberries, and let them sit in very hot water for 1/2 hour before adding them to plump them up. The result was a perfect muffin, which browned nicely, was very moist without being sticky, and a delicious muffin. Thanks for posting!

Ice Cream Muffins

Only 2 ingredients.. this is amazing! I've made these muffins exactly as the recipe says 3 times, and every time they turn out perfectly.. perfectly browned and crunchy on the outside, and very moist on the inside. They're great when you want a really good plain muffin without the sweetness of other muffins.

Samhain Pumpkin Bread

I have no idea what Samhaine means... but.. very good pumpkin bread. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was that the top was sticky (and I just so happen to like a crunchy top). Would make again.

Breakfast in a Muffin

These muffins are superb .. moist on the inside, crunchy & perfectly brown on the outside, and delicious! Have made it into my top 3 (I make many different kinds of muffins). I did omit the bacon, & they were still great. The next time I make them, I will alternate tablespoonfuls of the 2 batters into the tins so the cream cheese mixture will be better distributed.

Chocolate Pecan Pumpkin Bread

I would have given this 5 stars, for it was excellent, but the bake time was way off. It takes a full hour. I would have to change the name for my version, for I replaced the chocolate chips morsels with filbert pieces. They were a great substitution.

Banana Bread with Oat-Streusel Topping

Very good banana bread. Great streusel. I LOVED that it made so much streusel, for I refrigerated the remaining and will be using it on future muffins & breads..will save a lot of time when I make any other breakfast bread/muffin recipe, & it stays fresh in the frig for a very long time!

Mango Blueberry Muffins With Coconut Streusel

I made 6 large muffins instead of 16 small, and they turned out so professional-looking and delicious. I also substituted bing cherries (the dark red ones in a can) for the blueberries & mango.. great substitution!

Blueberry Loaf

This loaf was out of this world! It was the quickest, easiest breakfast bread I've ever made.. even the cleanup was minimal. I used canned bing cherries instead of blueberries.

Family Banana Nut Bread Recipe

Although this banana bread has a beautiful appearance, i.e. browned very nicely, rose perfectly & looks very professional (see my attached photo), it is lacking in taste. It has a rubbery consistency, not much taste, and surprisingly, the cream cheese & butter added nothing to the taste.
