Cream Cheese Mints

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2011
These are delicious little bites of heaven; however, they were VERY sticky to work with. Next time I plan to increase the powdered sugar by at least a cup! And I might dip some in chocolate for some excellent chocolate mints! Thanks for the recipe!!!

Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
Ummm, "Bookmarker" - Not sure why you are rating something you haven't tried. It says right in the description that this is a Taste of Home recipe! And the amount of flour isn't the only change - so is the addition of the heath.

Cooky Cookies

Reviewed: May 25, 2011
My household doesn't like coconut or nuts (we have a nut allergy), so I left these two ingredients out and threw in 2 cups of mini chocolate chips! Also used Frosted Flakes instead of Corn Flakes (since that's what was in our pantry). Worked GREAT! Everyone loved the surprise of the cereal in the cookies! I had no problem with oiliness at all! They were perfect! Definitely keeping this recipe! Thank you SOOO much!

Cookie Balls

Reviewed: May 25, 2011
Of all the different truffles I make, this one is not only the easiest, but one of the most loved!! To make it even easier, I use a "truffle scoop" (it's 1/2 the size of a cookie scoop) to scoop out the individual balls - place on a wax paper lined cookie sheet and place them in the freezer for just a few minutes (flash freeze them). Then to dip them in chocolate, I throw the ball of yumminess into the chocolate, fish it out with a fork, and allow the chocolate to drip off between the tines - then place back on the cookie sheet and sprinkle with additional crushed oreos. I've been making truffles for years and once you get the hang of it, you'll get faster and faster. I have also dipped these in milk chocolate and drizzled with white chocolate! Either way - YUMMO!

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
Oh my goodness!!! I never comment on recipes, but I HAD to comment on this one! I just made a batch and am watching my husband inhale his fifth cookie! They really do melt in your mouth! We LOVE them! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! I will probably be making another batch in the morning since I don't think there will be any left from tonight (and my batch made 24)!!! Oh, I forgot - I did reduce the cornstarch to 1/4 TEASPOON - simply because I didn't have enough in my pantry . . . worked GREAT!

Captain Crunch Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2010
I have a different version of this recipe: 2 c crushed Cap'n Crunch, 1 egg, 1 c milk, 1 c flour, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp pepper, 2 lb boneless chicken strips, oil for frying. Put crused cereal in a bowl, Beat egg and milk set aside, Stir flour & seasonings set aside. Dip chicken into flour mixture, shake off excess. Dip... into the egg mixture, coat well, then dip into cereal, coat well. Then fry and enjoy! A bit more flavor and more to my family's liking.

Oven-Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
GREAT recipe. I actually used Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix instead of Bisquick and it gave it a sweet and salty flavor that was out of this world! My husband and daughter LOVED it! We'll use this one again . . . and again . . . and again . . .

Easy Microwave Maple Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
I have tried this twice and both times I ended up with a soupy, sticky, great tasting mess. I cannot seem to get my fudge to firm up at all!! It tastes great, though - if you like maple soup.
