Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
I think this recipe should be called French Toast bread pudding or French Toast custard. It definitely does not come out to the french toast consistency that we were expecting. A lot of work to throw it all away and scramble around to make another breakfast meal. The inside of this was mush. Wet and soppy are the only words I can use to describe it. If you like bread pudding, you'll probably enjoy this recipe very much. If you're looking for a recipe for French toast, look elsewhere.

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
These are excellent exactly as the recipe is written! I came home from the store with a huge bag of Kale to which my husband, replied, "Don't think I'm eating that if you make it, I hate Kale." Of course he then ate 3/4 of the batch of Kale Chips that came out of our oven!! The second time making these I did find that it was easer to coat with oil if I put it in a tupperware container with the lid on and shake it around with a drizzle of olive oil...if you're unsure, take the chance and make these!!

Seasoned Fan Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
These were incredible! My family loved them. I just made sure I fanned the potato slices and found it worked best if I made my slices lengthwise in the potato--seemed like they were easier to fan, plus they looked fancy! I was out of cheddar cheese, so I used Feta, which turned out fantastic! Also, I drizzled Olive oil in lieu of the melted butter...otherwise I followed the recipe exactly.
