Apple Crisp II

Great taste, Not too sweet. I did not have any oats but I did have Oat Bran flakes. The finer texture of the Oat Bran worked out great.

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
WOW, This was fantastic and super easy. It does though make a lot. I used am 11 x 14 x 2-1/2 inch dish and only 3 lbs of cabbage (by accident) and it came to the top. I am going to recalculate it for 9 servings the next time. I did add a little oregano, granulated garlic. Not sure what difference it made but it turned out great.

WOW, What a cake. I loved it and I am not a cake eater but I made this for a party and I ended up serving it to people that LOVE German Chocolate cake. They said it was the best they've ever had. (and I did not change a thing)

Kay's Spaghetti and Lasagna Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
Very good sauce. One thing though, this sauce is more like stuffed peppers without stuffing them due to the amount of bell pepers in it. I am going to try to serve it with rice the next time. I think it would go great with it.

Original Irish Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
Great recipe. I wanted to make it again and double it but I only had enough whiskey for one batch. Still came out good, nobody noticed accept for me (I didn't tell anyone) it was just a little thicker.

Oatmeal Pancakes II

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
I took the advice from a couple of the reviewers and then again modified it. I first doubled it. I used whole wheat flour, and instead of only oatmeat I used half oatmeal and half soy chips and added an over-ripe banana (mashed)then let it sit for 5 min. for the chips to soften. My wife that only eats traditional foods loved them.

Amy's Barbecue Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
I forgot the recipe st the store and I bought Thousand island dressing by mistake. Tried it anyway but used just about a tablespoon of the Barbeque sauce. Since I don't like French dressing anyway. I thought it was very good and so did my family.

Puttanesca I

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2008
My sister made this for me on a visit. This has to be the best ever Pasta dish I ever had. I fried 1-1/2 LBS of sweet sausage, drained and added it, I used ziti instead of Spaghetti. I wanted to test it for a Bring along dish for a party and it worked great. I made the sauce, sausage and pasta in the morning. then about 1/2 hour before leaving, I heated everything separately then put all together. The oil kept everything from getting fry and it worked great.
