Wow, I may suggest adding lime rind to this fabulous recipe? Jenmi, thank you for the citrus suggestion. I added aprox 1Tbs finely grated lime rind to the recipe, and 1/8 cup finely chopped pecans. I piped the dough out through a very large star tip, large enough to accommodate the pecan shards, then after baking and cooling I lightly rolled the cookies in confectioners sugar. I made four dozen of the little darlin's. Two dozen to mail to my family, and um...I will have to think of something to do with the rest. :) Wonderful tangy lime melt-in-your-mouth shortbread.
