Sweet Pretzel Nuggets

I made these before and forgot to save the recipe. Sooo DELIC! I added about double the cinnamon. Great part is good for snack or dessert. Make them and people will ask you to make again and again.

Pasta with Tomato and Bacon

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2009
My husband didn't expect to like this but he really did. It wasn't very saucy, but over all really tasty. I used diced tomatoes instead of stewed.

Beef Nacho Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
I used taco seasoning recipe mix from this website, and seasoned the beef with it. I also used chedder cheese instead, and added black beans. I think it was great!! Didn't do the sour cream like people suggested..kept it with the mayo, but used canola oil mayo. I was surprised about the taste together, really delicious. Corn was good too! Although I am into the tex mex stuff.

Chili Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
I made my own chili (spices) with the meat, added chili powder, cumin, crushed garlic, and cayenne pepper, sauteed onion. Left out the celery. I also used crushed tomatoes instead of diced. I couldn't even taste the taco sauce...my opinion leave it out. Added a lot more cheese about 2 cups. Using the taco packet and taco sauce could be a whole different dish, which would not be chili casserole but taco casserole. Overall a good dish for something different.

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
This recipe is a keeper! I left out the egg, and added 1/2 cup more of the half and half. Also used different cheese velveta 8oz, Kraft parmesan asiago romano 1cup, and sharp chedder combo 3cups. I like this recipe because there is no flour, sour cream, or cottage cheese. Love it with the half and half makes it very creamy. You can use this base with the half and half and butter ratio with any cheese you like.

Tortellini Pesto Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
Delic! I didn't serve it over spinach. I used it as a side for wings. I also added some onion and used three cheese tortellini. I also left out the olives and broccoli. But used the carrots and pepper. I am in love with this side dish and will make again and again.

These three cheese garlic scalloped potatoes were so good. However you have to cook for longer than stated or use a very shallow dish.

Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Shake

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
I love this shake! It is thin, but I just wanted milk, and no icecream or yogurt. I used regular peanut butter, and hershey syrup. Drank the shake with a straw. Great recipe and ejoyed it so much. Will make again.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
My husband loved this soup. I modified the recipe and used cream of chicken soup as the stock and thickening agent and a can of milk. I just added the butter straight to the soup instead of making the creamy thickening agent on the side. Also added carrots and celery seed instead of celery. Worked out great for ham leftovers! Yum!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
I had company over and made this recipe. It was a hit everyone loved it including my 13 month old son. Though I have to agree with other reviewers the sauce is watery. However for me that wasn't a big deal, because the chicken is so flavorful you can strain the sauce.

Red Bean Salad with Feta and Peppers

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
I made this without the cabbage and added diced tomatoes. LOVED IT! You could easily server it over lettuce, which I will do next time. I didn't have it on hand. I also used regular yellow onion and dried parsley. Lemon juice, olive oil, and feta cheese are one of my favorite flavors!!! The kidney beans, and pepper give it great texture and good for you to boot!

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
You have to add another can of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken to make this creamy. Also adding a little milk will help if you want it creamy. I also like others added crushed garlic, onions, and ground ginger to the soup mixture.
