Okay these were delicious but they aren't as good as Tollhouse.

The bacon makes this really good even though at first I was skeptical. Loved by kids and adults :)

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2008
LOVE this recipe! Doubled everything and, as others suggested, used crushed pineapple in place of preserves. Delicious!

Yakisoba Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
I loved this. Only used 1 tbls of chile paste and couldn't find soba noodles anywhere (where do you get these?) so I used Ramen noodles as others suggested.

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2008
I should have listened to other reviewers. This was waaaaay to hot for me to eat. I'm still giving it four stars because the rest of my family liked it even though it was pretty spicy. I probably would have liked it if my mouth wasn't on fire. I'll try it again with much less cayenne next time. I also added onions which everyone liked.

Penne with Garlicky Broccolini

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
Oh, boy. First of all five stars to whoever named this dish...the word Garlicky is music to my ears. Five stars to whoever posted the picture... it made my mouth water. Finally, five stars for the actual recipe... Awesome!! I used regular broccoli and have to admit I felt guilty using all of that bacon grease so I actually used less than half and replaced what I dumped out with olive oil. I don't think it mattered anyhow because it was still so yummy! I followed other reviewers suggestions and added cherry tomatos. Two adults and three kids rate this a whole lot more than FIVE stars!!! If you love pasta and garlic this is a recipe for you. As for those who said it was too dry... I don't know what they are talking about.

I'm not a big fish eater but made this for my husband and I actually ate some too! Loved the garlic/butter/lemon combo. Hubby was very happy!

Really good. I did just go ahead and make meatballs to cut down on cooking time. Every one liked them and will make again soon.

We liked this -- next time I think I'll cut back on the red wine vinegar a little bit.

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2007
Maybe I got my hopes up too high on his one but I was dissappointed. It's not terrible but no one in the family was really thrilled about it. We ate it but I won't make it again.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2007
I was worried this wouldn't turn out but it was really good! I used chicken broth instead of water and it takes a lot longer than 30 minutes for the biscuits to cook -- more like 90.

Chicken Fried Steak II

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2007
I was sure the breading would fall off like always but followed another reviewers suggestion and it didn't fall off! I dipped the meat as recipe states then let it sit on waxed paper for 20 minutes then redipped and fried as usual. I don't usually make dinners like this because I don't like frying but do it now and again. I didn't use any where near the amount of oil called for in the recipe though. Tasted really good!

Salsa Chicken Burrito Filling

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2007
This was good and easy. As suggested by other reviewers, I cooked it in a crockpot for about 4 hours. I used four chicken breasts instead of two but didn't double anything else and it still had plenty of sauce.

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2007
This was okay. When three days later I still have half a pan left that's not a good sign. Especially with a husband and three kids to eat it. I liked it but I don't think anybody else did.
