Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2011
This recipe is awesome!! I read other reviews before making this and I did as follows: After reading another users reviews, I doubled the recipe. I did let the eggs set out and come to room temperature and I heated up the milk in the microwave just enough to take the chill off. I used 1/8 cup sugar, a whole stick of butter fully melted, 4 Tbsp baking powder and 3/4 tsp salt. I also added a splash of vanilla. I mixed wet ingredients and dry ingredients separate. Let the mixture sit about 10 minutes before pouring onto griddle. These are delicious! I will never again buy pancake mix!

Creamy Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
This is a MUST for holidays at my house! Everyone who attends our Thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers expects there to be a pot of homemade creamy hot chocolate on the stove already made and ready to pour into mugs. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful recipe to add as a tradition to our home :)

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
HOLY MOLY! Awesome slaw! This coming from a country raised Georgia girl who only eats my memaw's slaw! Everyone who eats it has rave reviews! The only things I do different are, instead of raw onions, I just throw in minced onion because it's on hand and I do not add the poppy seeds. Best slaw ever! So glad I found this recipe!

Pretzel Turtles

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2010
My husband LOVES when I make these. I pretty much follow the recipe as is. The only thing I do different, is I use Dove Chocolate instead of caramel candy only because my husband is not a fan of caramel. I also drizzle white chocolate over the pretzels when they are finished before putting them into the fridge to chill. Always a hit! Def something to make during the holidays!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: May 27, 2010
Great recipe! After reading other reviews, I also omitted the water and instead of dumping in the mixture for the apples, I mixed it together in a bowl beforehand. I bought a bag of Granny Smith apples and used all of them, I believe it was about 10 apples. Shared some with friends and they loved it also! Will def. make for the holidays!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2009
Five stars! No question! This was my first time making chicken and dumplings and this will be the recipe I give my kids when they grow up and want my dumpling recipe! My whole family thought they were amazing! I didn't make many changes but I did add a whole box of the Swanson's Chicken Broth and eliminated the water. I also used a can and a half of cream of chicken. I only seasoned it with pepper and salt. I did use both cans of biscuits (rolled them out and cut them in quarters) I omitted the onion also just because my husband isn't a fan. FABULOUS recipe!

Herb Turkey Rub

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
WOW! That is all I have to say! This was a hit for our Christmas bird! We had 15 people over, and none of them could stop talking about our turkey! I did not have White Wine Worstershire Sauce so I used 1/8 cup (Riesling) White Wine and 1/8 cup worstershire sauce and it was incredible! I also didnt have fresh ingredients so I used all dried. Came out FABULOUS! I made sure to bast it often and I was told it was "the most moist turkey" they had ever eaten.
